Taiwan Hakka Museum

Very well organized museum. Lots of things to see. The museum guide is very knowledgeable.

In the Taiwan Hakka Museum, you will not only see the Hakka culture in Taiwan, but also able to know about the Hakka culture globally from the Hakka people who migrated overseas.

The Museum has a permanent hall, a global hall, a Taiwan hall, a children's hall, a cultural and creative industry hall, a craft experience workshop, a library and reference center, an international conference hall and a multimedia audio-visual theater. After finish visiting the museum, you can go to the souvenir shop to try and buy Hakka food or local ingredients for cooking or gifting.

The Taiwan Hakka Museum is free for entry and open from Wednesday-Monday 09:00-17:00, closed on Tuesdays.

Good place to visit..

Casual place to learn about Taiwan Hakka Culture. But not very in-depth in content. Has a casual dining hall in basement and a restaurant serving food.

Interesting and great area for kids

Great location and the staff are so helpful to explain how important Hakka life is and how the culture has had an amazing impact on Taiwan .

Nice place to learn Hakka culture in Taiwan. The place is large. Not only good for family, also good for kids. Very educational.
