Luau pizza

Surprisingly, one of the most authentic Italian pizza in Taiwan... despite the many choices of local toppings from curry chicken to coriander pork to durian. But safe choices are still available and really delicious, like Margherita or Vegetarian! The ambience is also very authentic!

The atmosphere is great, it's really comfortable sitting outdoor. They have make some effort taking care of the enviorment. The flower in the garden are beautiful. Although there are no scenery outside of the restaurant, his looking at someone's house ( not very nice). But their pizza is excellent, it took some time to bake in the stone oven. I love the pizza crust. Their pasta is also very delicious. If you drive there, you need to make reservations first, because the street are very narrow and parking space are limited. They also have lots of vegetarian dishes.

The best brick oven cooked pizza I ever had. Moreover, the unique, one of the kind architecture and furnitures. Any pizza lovers should come over here to try. In addition to delicious food, the place is so unique, fabulous to let you totally relax and somewhat meditate if you wish. There are many varieties of pizza including some dessert ones. So, come over here to try yourself.

Two things come to mind after visiting Luau Pizza; Refreshing and Pretty. We were a group of 5 and we ordered Soup, Pizza, Risotto, Fresh baked pizza bread, Juices and Dessert. I have listed below my rating based on my opinion and experience.

You might need to call in advance as they get pretty busy. I'm sure the weekends are booked well in advance. I would suggest that you book a table at least 4-5 days in advance of you want to get there over the weekend. They deserve wine by the bottle and it's pretty reasonable (≈800NTD/Bottle)

Overall an excellent place to have a meal with family, friend and kids.

Excellent pizza with wonderful decor. Very good service and reasonable price. The pizza crust has excellent texture and the toppings are full of local specialty. Their drinks are very unique too.

Good pizza, lots of other dishes and deserts, quite good choice for vegetarian, pesto risotto was delicious, great atmosphere, very cozy and tasteful design, lots of outdoor seating, even the bathroom had an artsy set up, small garden and blankets to seat outside. Popular on weekends so better to make reservations!

We ordered Hsinchu Style and Margherita. Both tasted really good. Kids didn’t like the Margherita because of the tomato sauce (sour taste) but I really like it. The mushroom soup was sooooo good that we ordered another serving right after. Also a fun place to take pictures while waiting for the pizza. Will come back again!

We order seafood pasta with white sauce, pesto beef risotto, blueberry cheesecake and honey mike tea. The seafood pasta was absolutely delicious, it’s sauce was creamy and the seafood was fresh. Moreover, their honey milk tea was mind blowing. It’s a perfect combination between honey and mike tea. However, the taste of the pesto from our risotto was a bit too strong. On the other hand, their interior design is a bit weird. The one close to the kitchen is spacious and the furniture are better. The other side of the wall, on the other hand, is uncomfortable. The AC in this area isn’t strong enough so they put a tiny fan on the floor like it can make a big difference. Beside from the AC there are mosquitos and flies. It’s a shame that they have such delicious food with the interior design that doesn’t match it. Additionally, the thing that is worth complements is their service. After we told them the taste of the pesto from our risotto is too strong. They immediately offered a complementary meal of our choice.

A pizzeria on the hill of nowhere. The entire establishment is full of interesting decors. The pizza is all oven baked and fresh. Cannot remember what I had that day, since it was about 3 months ago, but really, not a place shall be missed. The parking is kinda tricky. It would not be a problem, however, if you have your table reserved in advance.

Excellent pizza, thin and airy crust. Tried the beef&pesto as well as the seasonal durian; will have to order the curry next time, it looked and smelled very tasty. Cozy dining area, and a nice green space to walk around after the meal. Only complaint would be the parking, as space is limited and is up on a hill. Reservations in advance are recommended, as it can get quite crowded.

Pizza and pies are good. And the beverages tastes good and healthy.

lot of open area, kids can enjoy nature. they have very big space inside as well as outside sitting. vegan options in soup, pizza. mushroom soup was creamy and tasty. must visit. only thing is road leading to this place is little narrow and tricky. Google map shows a road which is literally not possible to enter, people can use other side to enter.

Relaxed atmosphere. Chilled music. Outdoors and indoors. Good pizza. Great coffee. Relatively quiet. Quirky and interesting things to look at so walk around and explore. Lush lawn, which is rare in Hsinchu. Great to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Very special place where you fell surprise and comfortable. M.Paul is very friendly and he design an incredible restaurant with differents atmosphers. The food is made with fresh locals ingredients and the chefs make it beautiful. Definetly one my favorite place in Taiwan 🇹🇼

Very delicious meals

Expensive pizza and drinks, but it’s kind of memorable dining experience with authentic food, warm ambiance, connected with nature. Not convenient to get there though.

Make sure you have reservation. It's usually busy. Good pizza cooked by wood fire.
