Konak İskender Kebap

I had a three day layover in Istanbul and came here for dinner twice, the food was so unbelievably good. This spot is pretty popular w/ locals + people from the nearby hotels so you know the food is gonna be good. The servers were also really nice and gave great recommendations. 100% gonna eat here again if I come back to Istanbul.

I rarely post reviews but when I do, it’s because I really had good experience so here it goes. I was in Istanbul for 3 nights from 16th feb - 19th feb and stayed in Park Inn hotel so I went to this hotel for dinner all 3 nights. This restaurant was 2 minutes of walk from that hotel so if you are staying there then go to Konak Iskender restaurant for some delicious amazing kebabs and make sure to tip them well because to be honest I had the best experience there. Their food was so delicious and the staff are so respectful specially the older person/staff that is working there. Using a Google translator app, I told him how much I loved Yogurtlu iskender kebab which was not even in their menu but he surprised me when him and the chef specially cooked me that as I was really craving for it and that too without trying to charge me extra or rip me off. Their prices are very cheap and they have a high quality food. The atmosphere is amazing as you can see from the pictures and very good and maintained hygiene.
I was very impressed and eating at this restaurant was one of the things I really miss about Istanbul :)

See the pictures of food I ordered. Also their deserts are fresh cooked and hot. It was my first time trying those deserts and my favourite one was Katmer (second picture in the menu with green stuff on top), unfortunately I can’t find the picture of it but it was very very good. Thank you for great experience and special thanks to the old man there for giving me a great experience at this amazing restaurant.

High Money Value, Fresh made Turkish Bread, Tastey Healthy Food, upscale dine in and large food portion. This shop is owned by an individual that has been a serving people and conducting business with different cultures and religions in an equal and fair manner and above that they focus only on customers satisfaction which for sure increases business value and benefits. As a customer I greatly enjoyed my visit and would rather say they do deserve a visit. As we should support local community businesses.

Great service, great food! Must try the butter iskender kebap. The prices are also reasonable. Visa and MasterCard seems accepted here.

You can't go wrong with the kebob's. We ordered a mixture of chicken and mixed kebob's and were very pleased with tender chicken, perfectly seasoned lamb/steak and the Naan bread delivered before the meal.

What a taste. Turkish restaurants never disappoint me. This one is so special because it is super economical. I ordered so much food and was expecting 150 tl plus but it was only 84, unbelievable.

This restaurant was a hidden gem. Delicious food and great prices ! Their food was light and not oily. Ordered 2 portions of soup, 2 entrees, and lots of drinks and left paying $11.

We were having a bad trip but when we arrived to this area and went to this restaurant everything changed, food was top notch here amazing flavor and amazing staff they really made us feel like home. This place is so underrated! Discovered this place on our last day here in Istanbul and we wish we could extend our trip to have this food one more time! Food is unbelievable! Staff is extremely friendly! I haven't even finished eating here yet, that's how good this place is. We had their chicken skewers. Their starter bread is to die for! Goodness! Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
