Gokgol Magarasi

Cool atmosphere as soon as you enter the cave. Entrance is 20 tl for students and 40 tl for non students (July 2023). The cave has a long way with many stairs so you need to wear comfortable shoes when entering it. Also, before entering the cave there is also small museum that explains the history of the cave and many more. A must visit place in the summer

We visited the cave while on a trip to Zonguldak. Zonguldak itself is nothing special, but a 350 million year old formation is a must-see. There is around 850 meters of a walkable path, with beautiful lighting. There is a stream running along the cave, making the atmosphere even more special. It is pretty cold so wear warmer clothes. Entrance is 40 TL and 20 TL for students. Expect to stay for around 40 minutes.

It’s very nice, you can spend around 45 minutes here .. sometime the rocks are very low so you need to be careful for your head

Ticket is 15 tl per person
Its a very long cave, almost 10 minutes of continuous walking

If you're heading to Zonguldak, you can easily miss this cave, as it's located on a curve. The inside is very nice, well illuminated and maintained. There's also a river going along the path. Is a must see if you're in the area!

Cave on the highway rest. You expect nothing, you get an amazing place. Well wort visit even if you have to drive here for hours.

Trip takes around 35 to 40 minuets. Tickets required 40 TL per person. It deserves the ticket.

A beautiful cave well worth the visit. I also had some excellent gözleme at the café. Unfortunately the cave is hard to reach for those without a car (or taxi).

Very beautiful and attractive.

A must-see! A magical thoughtfully-lit cave that has some remarkable structures inside and a stream. This place is cool even in the unrelenting heat of a Turkish summer, so take your fleece! Do wear the supplied protective helmets: I saw too many carefree people banging their heads on low hanging rocks. It is not physically demanding: there are stairs and only a few places where you need to slightly stoop to pass. I am not a sufferer, but in terms of claustrophobia, it seemed very spacious to me - literally cavernous in places.

They should have better lighting but the cave is very interesting

Amazing place

Out of this world. Real breathtaking. Must see. Unfortunately, google maps took us unnecessraily there via a poorly paved long winding road while it could be reached straight on the highway.

Fascinating 💜... the most enjoyable experience.. a bit chilly for September but very much worth the visit. Highly recommend. Make sure you go.
