Rize Fortress

The most beautiful observation point in the area, really worth it. The view is amazing.

The fortress is small & it takes around 20 minutes from the city centre. It's free of charge, as there is no ticket office. Beautiful views and they have also got cafe on the top.

Really nice ciew up there. If you bring kids, you may give them to play on playground while you taken photo around here. Also have cami to pray. Restaurant available on top of the hill with astonishing while drinking your turkish tea.

A good stop on the way to Rize-Artvin. Nice place, but smaller than the expectation. On the top, there are many great views. Each corner has a unique view: tea mountains, Black Sea, and different city views. There are many options for a quick drink or small bites. I won’t spend more than 15-30 minutes here. There are many things to be discovered in the area. The castle wasn’t in our plan, it popped up on the map and we stopped to see it. Unfortunately, we missed one of the amazing points on our plan because of this stop.

A beautiful historical place with a view of the entire city, the entrance to the castle is through the entrance to a mosque, the castle is small, but its special place covers the whole city with a view of the sea and fresh air, and entry is free

It’s a beautiful view from here , natural is crazy as you can see Natural, Beach and Town in one pic. We all enjoyed here.

Little castle in 7 mins drive from the city centre. The place has a mosque and several viewpoints. There's a cafe on top with delicious Sutlaç, the local rice-and-milk dessert. Worth a visit if you have a spare hour in Rize.

Loved it alot, delicious sahlep, hot chocolate and I ordered winter tea and liked it very much feel like drinking hot flowers
