Place where everything begun in 19.05.1919. "Must see" for those who wish to know about Turkey more. P.s.Entrance is not free, cost 2 Lira's but you do not get any token, they just give you normal metal 1 TL coins😆

Although the ship was small, but it was a nice experience to see history. Besides, the surrounding garden was nice.

Ataturk Ship Bandirma converted to museum. And open for tourists to visit. Must visit place during visit to samsun a city of Turkey.

I loved it here. Very nice place with professional members of staff.

A must see place in Samsun, a slice of history, a pivotal point. I felt proud and emotional, doesn't matter the ship is a replica, I understand that the original couldn't be saved and put to display. The English translations on the signs should be looked over.

It is very affordable and well organized museum. You can find historically important things about Turkish Republic establishment and Atatürk. I highly recommend this museum for whoever visiting Samsun. It is only 2 Turkish Liras for adults.

An exact replica of the Bandırma Ferry which is turned into a museum, the ferry in which Mustafa Kemal sailed to Samsun to start the Independence War. Beautifully done, worth a visit.
