This place was such a lovely surprise! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke English! Really recommend.
The food fantastic (the vegetables, rice, desert, bread, which they make themselves), the place clean and they have 2 wonderful terases, at the upper floors, with a nice view!
And I love you can see the kitchen and see how the food is made!

A restaurant run by a family with very delicious, fresh dishes of the Turkish cuisine, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, all these just 5' from metro Vezneciler!

It’s a really nice place! So happy i ate here the first day I arrived in Istanbul: not pretentious, well-balanced, very tasty and very fresh dishes, I appreciated a lot - Mediterranean tradition as it should be. Staff is very friendly and fast: we arrived at the most peak moment of the day in the Ramazan period, but they were very nice and patient with us.

The place is clean and near mosque. The food is great. We eat what they cook, we can't choose the menu. The dessert was excelent. The service was fast.

I had a delightful dining experience at this charming Turkish restaurant. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy, with traditional Turkish decor that set the perfect mood for the meal.

The menu offered a fantastic selection of authentic Turkish dishes, and I was truly impressed with the quality of the food. The flavors were rich and bold, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail.

We get lunch on the restaurant & serve by the owner, food was great, especially the dessert made by the owner.
Excellent ambience & they have terrace ok the 4th floor.

Very lucky to find this hidden gem. Location is superb. Near to Süleymaniye mosque and the chocolate shop, also 3 minutes walk from the Vezneciler metro station. We went there quite late, so there were not much food left. What we had was delicious at a very reasonable price. Btw please don't skip their desserts. The owner and waitress were very welcoming and accommodating, plus their English was good. One of the bonus is their relaxing rooftop tables.

The location is great near to the Sulaymeniye Mosque. The turkish food is homemade, delicious and affordable😋 The staff are very kind and helpful. Highly recommend !

We discovered this place in our last day in Istanbul, unfortunately. We loved the food, extremely delicious and for a really good price. The place is small but has a nice vibe, and the people are really friendly. We will come back for sure.

You have to stop by here if you are looking for a quick and easy meal on your way to the next spot. I ordered one meze, soup, and chicken dish with rice - super delicious and the waitress was super friendly.

A lovely easygoing place with great food and super nice staff. All the dishes are full of flavor, juicy, and just feel like homemade. The place is popular among locals, so it might get quite busy. Just come, wait, find a seat and enjoy. The prices are more than reasonable; they serve baked goods and desserts as well.

As a tourist we have tried many places in Istanbul, but no doubt this is the best food we have had, with reasonable prices. We will definitely be back again

Having to stay two weeks in Istanbul, I searched for places where locals eat. I am tired of all those tourist restaurants serving the same dishes at expensive prices and not always very fresh or well-cooked. And then I found this place. Actually my wife did, i have to give credit to her. it is a place where they make local homemade dishes. From great soups to incredible stews, also for vegetarians, and also incredible deserts. It is close to the University so students eat here a lot. The prices are really, really cheap and the food is amazing. The staff is patient and attentive. And the deserts... Don't get me started on the deserts as they are incredible, especially the pudding. Anyways, for an amazing food at great prices and away from the hoards of tourists, this is the best place in the area.

Scrumptious and satisfying home style cooked food. I had the eggplant with meat and a stuffed pepper. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. They also serve pizza, which I have not tasted yet and chocolate chip cookies…next time:)

Great little place to get your lunch for a decent price. Buffet style lunch makes it easy to pick out what you wanna try.
