Borçka Karagöl Nature Park

You can’t say you went to Borcka if you didn’t visit the lake. The road is a bit tricky because it’s narrow and has many potholes. You need to drive very very carefully if you’re not going wit an SUV.

there’s a 40 lira entrance fee and it has many facilities once you’re at the lake such as bathrooms and shops.

What we liked most is that you can actually walk around the lake and do a full loop.

This is one amazing place you must see !
It is definitely worth the drive! There are places to sit .. there is a short walk with a beautiful view of the other side .
you can hire a kayak for 5tl per minute. (Make sure you put on your life jacket properly).
Toilets we're not very clean and needs some service the water flow isn't that well and the soaps were not working.

It was the best adventure ever i had lived in my life, Mind blowing , mother natural I really liked the view the lake the sounds , I really recommended. The road is little difficult to go up, if you can go with 4*4 road car would be perfect, you can camp inside it is the perfect feeling, don’t forget all camp equipments and its little cold take care ,
You can stay night with small hotels near the lake with in 20 km ,
For one car you will pay 15 TL
There is no hours to enter or exit,
Don’t forget to make a tour around the lake with plenty pictures 😄
Definitely will come next time to stay two night camping 🏕

This was the most unique and amazing nature experience in my life. When I went there was a mist, which made the whole forest and lake look magical. It was kind of a hard drive but definitely worth it.

Pristine lake, a great getaway place for relaxation and stroll, also the scenery along the road is breath-taking. There is a hiking path around the lake, which is an easy hike of approx 45-55min. The ground is uneven and slippery in some spots, rough soled shoes are best choice. No swimming or fishing allowed, but there are a few camping spots available, together with toilet facilities and recreational area .

You'll find every tone of green. Not a camping friendly place but you can do. Weekdays is better for visiting. A must see place for nature lovers. Bring some bread to feed fishes. A compact cafeteria is available.

Good place for picnic the weather is good the main problem is the road need to be fix

Amazing place. Türkiye is like heaven, you can find every amazing part of nature here. Karadeniz area is great for green and mountain 🏔. Don't miss to visit here.

I was there first time in this autumn season. There were many different trees and the colors of them were changed green to orange and red. I like there due to vivid colors, shadown of them on the lake, fresh air, ... however many people were there

Awesome plateau,can spend hours in virgin nature,the road is difficult,cars park is not enough.one caffeteria is not enough.

Very beautiful! 😍 I didnt had the chance to do the boat tour.. but I think it was not really needed.

Unfortunately we came early to the lake, but it was a great place.. The road to that place is breath taking... You will have so much fun..
Absolutly recommended.

So quiet, beautiful scenery

It was surreal. We rented a boat and rowed on the lake and afterwards all of a sudden a heavy fog appeared...

It's awesome, must visit place, if you're in black sea region.

A very beautiful place. It's a lake among mountains and forests. You can see lots of fish in the lake. The road is a little bit narrow in some parts so if you have an RV or a big car you should be careful. But it's totally worth it.

If you have a plan to go there, You must take some things that you love in order to enjoy them there, such as card games and others. In addition, I advise taking the jacket with you in case of rain and because it is a high area.
