Our family recently had the opportunity to go to Istanbul, and had a wonderful time! We saw, heard and ate so many new things. The Turkish people were gracious and kind, especially to our kids! One of our favorite experiences was visiting Mosaic Lamp Manufacturer Karlık Turistik Telkari Mozaik Lamba Imalat Toptan.
They're outside of the center of the city, so a bit out of the way, but well worth the extra effort! Ömer greeted us at the door, and once inside walked and talked us through process of making these beautiful Ottoman style lamps. He showed us the copper wire they use, the mosaic pieces, and how they use silicone to adhere the glass pieces, but then go over it with cement. One of the things that I liked the most about their company, is that they hire women in the community to place on the mosaic pieces at home, so that way, they are able to be at home and care for their families, as well as earn a living. Their pieces are so beautiful, it is nearly impossible to choose just one. But once you do, they're able to wire it for whatever region you live in, and box it up carefully. I was grateful that they let me take pictures, and were gracious hosts, offering us tea. This was truly a highlight of our visit! I love the little piece of Istanbul I got to bring home with me. <3

I traveled half way around the world for these lamps and had an amazing experience.
The brothers who own the store are the nicest people you will meet anywhere. Really welcoming, patient, and kind. I purchased several lamps and they wired them to work in the US for me. Top quality and craftsmanship. They will show you how each is made. My only regret is I didn't buy more during my visit. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

By far my favourite part of Istanbul!

The gentlemen there spent around two hours helping me in their show room. They took the time to show me their process and explain the differences between the various types of lamps and globes they had to offer. I was highly impressed with how much was made locally, and the overall hand-made nature of the lamps. They assisted me in picking out the individual parts to create my perfect lamp, and then packed it so well that I had full confidence that I would be able to fly it back to Canada without damage. It took me nearly an hour to unwrap all the pieces when I got home!

I am absolutely impressed in all regards, and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Istanbul.

We traveled from Korea to visit this store in Istanbul with high expectations.
Our expectations were exceeded and we were happy to purchase the lamps!!

The prices were reasonably manualized and honest, and we could see the samples well.

The work is done by hand.
I know the core materials are not made in China.

They have a shop alongside the workshop, so it might look a little messy.
It's not a problem at all, it's more reliable.

They accept card payments and cash.
You can pay in lira or dollars.
Above all, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I recommend this store if you want to buy Turkish lamps.
They have an official website and social media presence, and they deliver worldwide.

Oh, and of course, the lamps are so pretty and collectible.

Very sweet people work in this store. I really enjoyed hospitality of shop owners. They explained details of handmade mozaic lamps. Price was moderare which made me want to buy more. Overall, it was great experience. For sure i will come back and buy more only from here. Wish you all the best.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This family business was easily our best experience in Türkiye after 2 months here. They were so friendly, warm and welcoming. We felt no pressure to buy and walked in intending to not get anything. However, their craftsmanship, quality and kindness stood out to us as people we want to do business with - we got 3 beautiful lamps!!!

Prices were extremely honest and fair compared to the Bazaar and other retailers who charge sometimes 5 times that for half the range of options! This is because these guys manufacture and wholesale to a lot of these places so you definitely get the best deal with the best people.

We want to thank them for the relaxed experience and customising everything to help us make it perfect. These will make the best gifts for family in Australia.

I bought some lambs from there for my overseas friends as a souvenir from Turkey. You can customise it as much as you want. They will do everything from the cable choice to packaging. Thanks a lot Omer :)

Finally home in Italy with this beautiful lamp! We discovered almost by accident this amazing store while we were looking for a place to buy our souvenir lamp, it is a small family business where the lamps are handmade with quality materials, Omar is very kind and showed us the processes to create the lamps and how all the different steps work, we also had a very pleasant chat and he is a genuine and nice guy. The store is a bit far from downtown but absolutely worth it for the quality, price and beauty of the pieces and the shopping experience itself that you cannot find anywhere else!

I've dreamt about buying authentic Turkish lamp for a long time and it was one of my goals for trip to Istanbul. There I tried to choose one somewhere on the Grand Bazaar, but I wasn't sure that it's the perfect place for buying lamp. That's why I decided to google and found this magic place✨

It's located out of the touristic centre, so you can see real Turkey. The shop is managed by brothers Omer and and they are doing great job!

Omer told us how all the lamps are made, so we had an interesting conversation! So here you can not only choose a lamp, but also understand how they produce them!

And, of course, prices are reasonable and there are thousands of different lamps, so you have a lot of options to choose.

Easily rated as one of my best travel experiences in Istanbul! When we walked into their store, we were so well recieved we thought they had mistaken us for someone important they had been expecting. Their hospitality changed the way I see Istanbul.

We got a thorough lesson on how the lamps are made, the build differences and what the different designs mean.

It was my first time to visit Turkey for a conference. It is my dream to buy an authentic mosaic lamp and came accross with this beautiful shop. The owners Mr Omer and his brother Halil and friend Ozen were very accomodating and patient with my querries. Mr Omer explained how intrically they make the lamps the copper wires and mozaic tiles itself. I was really fascinated how beautiful they are with the quality the price is reasonable. ♥♥ I LOVE THESE GUYS!!! ♥♥ They go out of their way to help their customers, and give you a full education on their products and the craftsmanship. I was privileged to be able to see them actually build my lamp in front of me, and it was delightful to hear them tell me all about it, and see the pride they take in their work! I recommend to buy hand made lamps, made of pure copper, if you can afford. These hand made lamps are works of art which is not available anywhere else.the owner also have all metal one lamps too. Which are cheaper than handmade one. When you compare both you really admire the craftsmanship of handmade one.the packaging done by owner himself which was of very high standards.

Incredible handmade mosaic lamps. They were very friendly and hospitable, we were shown the process of how the lamp was made. I definitely recommend these beautiful handmade lamps over the mass produced lamps sold in the more touristic areas.

We came here last Sunday walk from Sagmalaciar subway stn under rain, cold & windy weather with kids, Was it worth it ? Yes!!! it should be close on Sunday,but the seller nicely open his shop for us,then he explained everything in details & passionately about his works. I finally bought my dream 7 colorful mosaic lamps ceiling type that will be ready hang on my home soon :)

They were extremely kind. They offered me tea, explained the process behind the making of the lamps and just made the purchasing itself a very pleasant experience. Very much recommended for unique artistic pieces to bring back home!
