Historical sight. Worth the visit. They have nice full wall of fresco paintings, one fountain with a sculpture. We are noticed they might have theatrical events in their Roman theater (ancient design with good acoustics).

That’s one of our favorite ancient cities this far. It is located on a flat ground, so it is easy to access for those who have some disabilities. Laodikeia is huge and beautiful, very quiet and you can walk for hours there listening to the birds and enjoying the nature views and ancient rocks. This place absolutely worths a visit!

We enjoyed visiting here. There were very few tourists and you could take your time and feel what it might have been like in ancient times. The amphitheater was not completely exposed, giving it a more natural look.

Buying the tickets was a bit hectic. You should buy it down at the edge of the hill from your car. Apart from that, this place is magical and a hidden gem especially late afternoon. Barely no one.

It’s an excellent archaeological site. Extremely large so wear your walking boots. Very interesting mosaics and many drainage pipes. Some interesting columns also

Very beautiful landscape. Cool views for making photos. We bought tickets with MuseumKart and it covered Pamukkale Hierapolis. Summer time may be too hot, we came in October and it was like 30 degrees at noon.

I'm glad they promoted Laodicea at Pamukkale. This is an incredible site. I liked seeing the Agora and the partially restored church. You should try and walk along the Roman streets to get a feeling for what it was like.

This was a good experience. The archeologists have done a pretty good job, because in one place we saw the ground 2.5m high up in the air, and that means they've dug that much.
The ancient city contains a lot of hidden treasures, like houses, a church and gardens.
The most important part is, never wander around without a bottle of water per person if it's daytime. It was around 38 degrees Celsius and we almost melted to the floor.
After all, it was a good experience and we advise you to see it.

This was one of the ancient cities I've been waiting to visit. Named by Antiocus II's wife, these ruins were carefully preserved after many bygone centuries . "Because you are lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth." During this visit, I learned about the water channels (cold and hot), as well as the eye salve also mentioned in Revelations 3.

Truly an amazing place and a must if you’re even close to the area. The quality of what was a wealthy city is evident in both size and volume. Plan a 3-4 hour visit at least💯👍

This ancient city is huge. We walked through large part of it and it is really amazing. Especially the theatre is breathtaking. Unfortunately it is very hot there and no green. But is worth visiting!

Great place to visit from Denizli in a taxi if you are looking for historical places near the city and want to explore something that’s not very common or popular. There was no crowd and we were mostly the only people there. The weather was great and the whole city is very nicely preserved and looks just as good as the ruins I’ve seen in Italy, Lebanon, Jordan and Greece. The information is very interesting and the church and amphitheater is definitely worth checking out when visiting this place. If you have a museum card then it’s great but otherwise the ticket was for 150 tl when we visited.

I have been here and seen the restoration of the Laodicea church. Here I read that the Council of Laodicea in 363 AD met to decide which books were included in the Bible. There are 60 canons.

I would highly recommend visiting these ruins. No admission fee required during our time of our visit. These city ruins sit a top of a beautiful mountain that has gorgeous overlooks and snow capped mountains in the backdrop.

This Laodicea the city ruin is upon the hills. At that old time, water supply facilities were maintained. This city was a quite a developed city. The recently excavated part is covered with a glass floor so you can see it. Nice displayed. Excavations are still ongoing. The city is really wide and large, and the agora is also a huge open place. Please wear comfortable shoes.

This is a well preserved site in Denizli. It is easy to understand and appreciate even without a tour guide. The ruins include a theater, a stadium, a nymphaeum, and a church. The architecture is impressive, and the attention to detail is evident. I would highly recommend visiting this fascinating place to learn about the history and culture of ancient Anatolia.

A fantastically gigantic hidden treasure. Most people focus on Hieropolis, but Laodicea is a fantastic place too. They're still digging and renovating, but it's obvious that this will end up an enormous ancient city - on the scale of Ephesus.
