Hands down, this is the best place to have food in Afyon! It’s a have to try as the food is so delicious. The service is even better as the owner is an amazing person and really kind. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Highly recommended! Came all the way from Hong Kong for this food!

Another wonderful experience of Turkish hospitality at this restaurant just when we were about to leave the city. Greeted warmly by the friendly owner who spoke good English and gave us a little background information about their family restaurant. We had to go for a taste of the kebab even though we had a big breakfast and we are glad we made that choice. We all enjoyed the delicious meat but above all we love the hospitality. The owner refused to take our money and offered us drinks and dessert. Even though his customers were flooding into his restaurant at 1pm, he took a moment to say goodbye to us at the door.

Traditional food. This place talk history. Small but always busy. Try to come noon before they close. I recommend to visit and try traditional dishes

I've been going since I was a child. They have a way of preparing food that hasn't changed for years. It's always a pleasure to eat here, thanks to the owners who try to do their job right without any commercial concerns. Their menu is fixed and the restaurant closes when the food is sold out. Hurry up and try it when you are in Afyon 😋😋

Great place, great food, only one delicious traditional dish and excellent desert. If you are visiting Afyonkarahisar this is definitely one place you should go and eat. Great experience (is a very small place to eat, serving the same one dish and being owned by the same family for 4 generations, there are pictures of each owner on the wall), great host and excellent food.

One portion is enough.. But i want to eat more. If you order more they will offer full portion.. Thats so much.. Delicious lamb meat.. I suggest strongly

The concept is a bit peculiar for a first timer but the kebab they have on their single-item-menu is the best kebab you'll eat for a long while.

The prices are more than fair. Service is a bit slow but not overwhelming, kadir (who is the 5th generation to the bacaksız family) handles the modest but crowded diner pretty well, he's incredibly nice as well.

Best kebab ever. This guy and his family has been making the the only dish for a century. Excellent food and very vey reasonable without the fanfare. They have ekmek kadayifi with sakiz and it is superb.
