pictures from 19 October. Because summer season is finished, it's calm and quit. The temperature is OK. you won't get a sunburn at this time of year. For me it's perfect timing for people who don't like crowded places. I was just swimming alone nobody around :)

Good sand beach with showers and clean coast line. Bottom is not deep. Water is very clean. There is some small island and it is perfect place for snorkeling. We saw there many beautiful fish. Many free spaces, no crowd. Only local friendly people. For 5 days have not met Russian people)

The beach is very nice. It’s a sandy beach and it’s very shallow. Very good for non-swimmers

A rare, sandy beach for this part of Turkey where most beaches seem to be pebbles. Very gradual slope, stays shallow for a long time. A few restaurants on the beach. Nice forested area behind the beach, seems good for camping. Nice for body surfing when there are waves 🤙

If you the type who likes shallow sea, you are going to enjoy it. Also the sand is very suitable for castle making or whatever you want. As far as I observed there is always certain level of waves so it never gets calm.

Nice sand beach. Water doesn't deepen quickly. Water isn't as wavy as at other beaches in Demre. Not busy, perfect place during corona times. There are beach cafes which offer sun beds for a low price.

Very pleasant sandy beach, with a shallow shoreline. Not crowded, and nearby restaurant has wonderful Turkish food, and very comfortable, laid back service.

this beach is wonderful there is two restaurents there prices are more expansive than the downtown and spots to park campers.

Good sand beach with clean sea and low amount of people. Bottom is not deep. You can walk for 30-40 meters.

About Demre
Municipality in Turkey

Demre is a municipality and district of Antalya Province, Turkey. Its area is 329 km², and its population is 27,691. It was named after the river Demre. Demre is the Lycian town of Myra, the home of Saint Nicholas of Myra. The district was known as Kale until it was renamed in 2005.
