Amethyst Hotel

We stayed at the Amethyst hotel over the new year period and I have to say their service, breakfast and location were absolutely outstanding. We were within walking distance to bus and tram links and about 30 mins walk to the main attractions in Istanbul. Clean hotel and great staff. The Hammam experience was great too. Would definitely recommend

Very beautiful and calm, specially the pool and sauna which are free

The staff was very friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. Especially the cleaner, who wished us a very good morning, asked if everything was alright with the cleaning and offered us some extra products. The hotel has very nice spa facilities, including a pool, for no extra charge. The rooms are clean, and the towels and beds are very soft.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, caring and went there extra way to make my stay more welcoming. The hotel is very nice with a pool and hamam (which is great) I highly recommend this place for your stay here. They were always available to help at any time from the reception staff to the service staff. The location is great you are located right in the centre everything is almost walkable. They also helped with directing me to the best places around Istanbul. Thank you so much for an amazing stay I will be visiting again.

I have been there several times there is old an man at the reception who claim to be manager there is so rude he’s got no respect for customers specially Africans will not recommend it for anyone. The management need to do something about it probably talk to him about.because it’s used to be my favorite hotel then.

Really good service, staff very polite, helpful and nice. The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed inside. The location is also good, close to one of their tram stations that goes directly to the historic centre.

I am only five days into my stay here (with another four to go), but I could not wait to write about my experience here! Since we first arrived, the staff has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure every wish of ours have been fulfilled. If you book a tour... make sure you book it at the reception here, because they will tell you honestly which ones you should do, and which ones are the best value, especially for families. The Turkish people are famous for their hospitality, but honestly I did not expect to be treated so extraordinarily well! Everyone that works here is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast varies from day to day which is really nice, and they have been so helpful with our children, whether helping us carry food to our table, or asking us if they could get something for us so we didn't have to get up or by being super sweet and entertaining for our little ones. Besides breakfast, the restaurant itself is more than excellent: super delicious and very reasonably priced. The tram station (Aksaray) is less than a three minute walk from the door, or the Laleli-Üniversite tram station is just a little longer walk up the Ordu Avenue towards the direction of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sofia. Housekeeping has been beyond our expectations: excellent cleaning, replacement of toiletries, linens and water! The indoor swimming pool is even cooler than the pictures online portray, perfect for the imagination of the little ones! This hotel is simply perfect for families. They could honestly charge more based on service alone. When we come back to Istanbul, we will be staying here again, and we hope to see the same wonderful staff when we come back! Save yourself the headache of looking elsewhere and book here.

Very pleasant place. All staff and manager compete to provide great service. deluxe room is very nice. All the products in the breakfast were very tasty and high quality. I think the breakfast is legendary. only the breakfast room is a bit small but the decor is very nice. everything is new. We loved the pool and hammam. They pay great attention to hygiene and covid rules. All staff are masked. rooms are cleaned every day. sheets and towels are clean. The restaurant prices are very cheap and the food is great. It is very close to Taksim, Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia. Two visits to Istanbul, but I will visit you again. Thanks to Amethyst hotel

The hotel goes to standards. Well furnished. Well served. The only problem is the small room size. Internet speed is good. Breakfast can be better. It holds an excellent location less than 5 minutes from tram a day metro

Great trip to turkey amazing elevators and had a good ac 10/10 would recommend to anyone going to turkey. Loved the customer service. Rooms were very clean and tidy. The elevator itself was amazing and deserves 30/30 :)

If your a trader looking to buy clothes and other stuff in bulk; this is a great hotel. It's right in the middle of layle(I'm assuming I got the spelling right) market. but if your looking for all the touristy sites, then this hotel is far away from all of that.
But overall it was clean, buffet breakfast: it's okay depending on what you take and the staff are really helpful.

room are very clean, staff was very freindly. Breakfast was delicious. Pool and hammam is very good. I have a baby. They were always help me. Very very clean and safety hotel.

Service excellent, food amazing, waiters Ismail & Murtaza went out of their way to make us welcome. We ended up returning several times. Very nice & friendly people. Recommend the food highly.

The check in was easy and fast. The room was clean, had a good bed and had a comfortable nights sleep.

Good 4star hotel. Small rooms but very helpful staff and very clean rooms. And also a good breakfast, but sadly it’s only from 7-10.
