Varuna Gezgin Cafe - Antalya

If I could rate this place even higher I would. This place is amazing and on walking in I was instantly in love with the decor and the vibe and the diverse food options. Go here! Check out the story and the motivations for what they are offering why, and then order the delicious food. And then, maybe be like me and spend the better part of two days here doing work...or not. Your call.

From the outside this is the kind of place I avoid, but we'd been recommended to visit it by a waiter in another restaurant who used to work here. Inside, it's fabulous as you can see for yourself from the photos on here. We had breakfast and they were terrific. I had the Teachers and my wife had the French toast. Service was very friendly and efficient. Everything about it was perfect and so much to look at in there. If you visit Antalya, you must visit Varuna Gezgin.

Best breakfast in Türkiye so far. I had the Murat teacher breakfast, my partner had the pastrami omelette and a smoothie. Best prices, amazing service and a wonderful story of their origin. We will definitely come back!

Love love love! Best brekkie in Turkey. Mesmerising decor, delicious food at very reasonable prices and attentive staff. A must!

Unique bar with cosy atmosphere and lovely staff, they are so nice and helpful .
Everywhere is full of books and antiques, seats are comfortable.
The bar has two floor with outdoor seating as well, they serving from breakfast till dinner to midnight.
If you are in area its 💯 worth to go and recommend 🥃

Love the travellers community concept of this chain. The decoration and vibe of this place is very authentic & amazing. We took the Turkish breakfast which was delicious. This in combination with cute servers guarantees a good happy morning. Keep up the good vibes!

Very cute little cafe with exceptional service. We did not have breakfast there but had a great time enjoying our Turkish coffee and cappuccino. My finance originally ordered her Turkish coffee without sugar and found it to be a bit bitter so she asked for some sugar. The server said he will make a new one because it is not possible to just add sugar into the coffee given the sediments at the bottom. He had issues communicating that to us so got his coworker who had better English explain. Such a nice team of staff members.

A nice spot for breakfast on a hot summer day! The food is light and delicious, and the juices are excellent. My waitress recommended the Monk Juice, which was a mixed fruit delight. Another highlight was the kitten who kept trying to get my food- adorable.

It's an ideal choice for diverse gatherings, from to lively group events or productive online work sessions. Situated in a beautiful location, the cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. While prices might be slightly above average, the overall experience justifies it

I normally just drink at Varuna Gezgin but today we had the chicken schnitzel, chicken stroganoff, and seafood pasta. We all loved our food and the chef handled an allergy in our group and still made the food taste amazing. The schnitzel is one of the best I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed the service, everyone is so friendly and seems to love their job. I will come back for sure.

I cannot say anything that special of food, since I haven't tried much, I'd put it in a simple way, it's a decent food, and my pizza was delicious 🤤 and my classical burger was just average, and my normal lager beer was normal larger; but (!!) the atmosphere inside is amazing 🤩 the interior is just mind-blowing, like going to museum 😁 really amazing job, guys. As a summary, totally recommended to stop by when around Antalya 🙌 been there several times, totally satisfied. P. S. I'm a student, so for me everything is a bit pricy these days, so, it's a subjective factor.

I would absolutely come back here next time in Antalya. The quality of everything including the food, the antique bookish vibe, and the staff was top notch. Even the quiet location makes you feel at ease.

Absolutely amazing place. Located on a small quiet street, very quiet even outside and few people around. It is very cozy inside, soft music, a lot of wood, nice warm light, a lot of books, photos, old artifacts like cameras, radios, pianos and so on. The theme of the cafe is traveling to different countries. Each table is named after a country (for example, Bangladesh is in the very corner of the establishment, a great place for dinner for two). The food is prepared and brought very quickly, there are so many things on the menu that your eyes run wide. The schnitzel turned out to be very tasty, and the salad with halloumi and caramelized pear can make you faint, it's so good. This is my new favorite place in the old town now.
Please note that prices are above average, but it is enough to go here once to understand why.

I was there just once. But I'd love to visit this place again. It's a very atmospheric place with realy good service. Regarding food, I'm not a gourmet. But the food I eaten was very good to me.

Really special place. I recommend it to everyone. There are three main seating areas. The best and quietest is downstairs upon entering. The service is always good, food is good. Espresso-based drinks are fine—not the greatest, but you should go Turkish anyway.

Authentic and a really great place for breakfast 😊 food is fresh and yummy. Service is as good as you can get and the lady who served us - Özlem was really bubbly and friendly. Thank you 😊
