Very nice museum with many exhibits! Wonderful museum collections coming mainly from Perge Ancient City. Worth to stop by at least one hour. The museum is not huge so even if you're not a fan of archeology, you should try it. We visited it after all day on the beach (it's on the way). You can leave your bags in lockers, it is a very comfortable solution. Entrance included in the Museum Pass Turkey.

Definitely worth to visit this museum. A lot to see and see how details the statues. Take the red tram from the old town credit card lira 19. Same stop you can down to the beach. Or proceed to walk up main road after museum to take bus lira 19 to the cable car. Definitely worth to go up there. USD 15 for foreigners Local Turkish lira 78 if I am not wrong. Make it an great day out.

The museum is a must see. The rich culture of the area is so well explained.
Don't forget to carry headphones as you would need the audio to explain to you each segment.
Also if you plan well, you could visit the dig sites from Antalya at a driving distance.

Amazing collection of statues!!! I say this after seeing the British Museum, touring Istanbul, and a day in Ephesus. We thoroughly enjoyed this museum despite all we had previously seen. Highly recommend.

This is the best museum I have been in Turkey. It is a Roman history museum similar to ones in Italy. 4-5 hours can be spent on museum if you like history.

Well maintained museum with interesting artefacts. Some signs are including English.
It was lovely to see the peacocks in the garden area, but we missed the shop due to late arrival.

One of the best museums I have been so far, you can see statues and sarcophaguses up close and they are organized in a nice way. Definitely worth visiting.

Another great museum although it is clear here many great treasures have been looted from Anatolia. Great children's sections.

Advice to take an audioguide, it' not free, and you need to leave your ID douments. Very informative stands, you can easily spend a couple hours there. A beautiful garden outside on the way out.

The Antalya Archaeology Museum offers an immersive journey through history. It's a treasure trove where you can get up close and personal with intricately crafted statues and awe-inspiring sarcophagi. Be prepared to be captivated for a minimum of 2-3 hours as you explore the exhibits that span centuries. This museum is a must-visit for anyone seeking a deep dive into the rich archaeological heritage of the region.

I visited this museum second times, I came this year again. The historical artifacts are wonderful, the most of them had only reached with a few missing to our present. This Archeological Museum certainly cost to see. Especially, if you love the Ancient History, Archaeology and Mythology, you can see the sculptures, sarcophaguses etc. If you take a book about the Mythology, you can understand and learn the sculptures who they are. Have a nice trip!!!

Does not need additional praise. It is very beautiful and professional, comprehensive and detailed about a history of about 10.000 years.
