Kazdağı Millî Parkı

One of the most beautiful Natural reserves of Anatolian Peninsula. It is situated in northern part of Aegean Sea in Balikesir Province and near this place there are some really important ancient towns such as Assos, Troia and Pergamon. There is so many historical stories and legends about this area and mountain. It used to be called in ancient era as Ida Mount and the first beauty contest had been held on this mountain. Paris should have decided the winner of the beauty contest among Hera, Afrodit and Athena. Poor Paris!

Kazdağları is lucky part of the nature that is not ruined by concrete city life.
I was astonished to see the power of baby pine trees that is growing out of the rocks.
I listened out the nature for minutes in silence there was no sounds of cars but just naughty insects chanting away.
Despite the fear of concrete monster capturing this beautiful nature a sensible,controlled investment needed to improve roads and some service areas.

Best of best nature and air. So many endemic species and lush forests.... lots of water resources ,rivers ... every cm is a wonder of the world

It is beautiful here, but some companies that have won auctions want to destroy this oxygen-filled forest.

Canyons, waterfalls, green vs blue. Also no tourists and selfiers to spoil the experience 👌

Wonderful. It would be even better if visitors keep it more clean, is a shame to find human rubbish in a place like this

In the Aegean side of Turkey. Ida national park. Must see for its beauties and nature.

Excellent nature for getting relaxed and having a nice walk.
