This is one of the most famous restaurants in Kayseri. It's been known, and is still known to this day with its spectacular view, service and quality of food. 🍲😋

1. Surroundings

Being located on the mountain, the restaurant has its own parking lots. The restaurant has enormous places available both inside and outside. Depending on the weather, it's highly recommended to sit outside to enjoy both food and the view.

2. Food & Drinks

Whatever you pick from the menu will surely fill you up thanks to the Turkish hospitality - side dishes, freshly bakes breads, and water is served additionally.

After your main meal, make sure to have left some space for their delicious dessert(s) alongside a hot Turkish coffee and tea.

3. Prices

Comes with no surprise that this restaurant has more pricy menu than the central restaurants. As a tourist, the prices are usually below what you'd normally pay in your residing / home country. On the other hand, the locals that go there are usually wealthy people.

4. Service

Very quality service thanks to the fully trained and experienced waiters and waitresses. The meals came in less than 10-15 mins despite the place being packed up.

5. How to get to Taşmekan

Either a car or taxi. No public buses or any sort of transportation is available.

Result: This place is 10/10 💯

Very authentic Turkish kebabs are served here. Everything you eat is delicious as they formerly only produced one m standard menu.

Now there exists a menu, so you get to decide whatever you like to eat.

İ recommend you to order a mix of everything as seen in the picture. İt is 1 kg mix of kebabs.

The view of the city is amazing and the dishes are delicious. If you’re in Kayseri, you need to go there.

This is my personal go to place whenever I crave good meat. Nothing, and I mean nothing I have had there ever tasted mediocre. Every bite you take makes you moan while eating- the grilled meat, the grilled eggplants, the salad with wallnuts, the bread. All to die for, and I know what good meat should taste like. The ambience is a separate topic. It has this mountain chalet or golf club style to it, with all the logs, fireplaces and bricks. It is pricy, yes, but this is the only place in Kayseri, I am happy to pay whatever.

Mainly grilled meat restaurant. Located on the way to Erciyes mountain. Large seating area with a beautiful view, overlooking the city of Kayseri. They serve breakfast so it is convinent to fill up on your way to ski. And also a good stop for a hearty meal after the ski. The meat is tender and juicy. The salads and bread are fresh. The staff are friendly. And the place is popular. I loved the grilled kidney. And don't forget to order the grilled onions 😋

This is one of the best restaurants in Kayseri. Both the view and the food are excellent. For dinner I do really suggest "Pirzola" (chopsteak but know that our chopsteak is smaller than American one) you may order Pirzola in kilos so order couple of kilos for groups. "Küşleme" (type of special and precious meat) is also perfect but Küşleme is something rare and you need to make reservations and order up front if you want to eat. Moreover, the breakfast is also very nice here. Order "Sucukiçi" and "Pastırmalı Yumurta" with the breakfast. If you are staying in a hotel in Erciyes Ski Center, this restaurant is very close to it.

We visited the new location, it was very clean and the staff is very friendly. Their breakfast was very tasty and everything was fresh. If I’m around Kayseri, I will defiantly be back.
