Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR)

Just opened the new terminal. What a difference! The new terminal is huge , mush more facilities and there are two balconies for smokers. No need to go out to smoke.
Security lines are shorter than before and much better toilets.

Loved the airport for its size and quick service. Felt like a bus station where u get off flight and walk into the terminal and just wait for your baggage. nice experience. This is about arrival. departure wasnt much different, u walk and get onto your plane, i loved it. small food court

Small airport. If you go to Goreme, need to booked a shuttle bus or rented car.

Most beautiful airport i saw today!! Must see in winters!! Small airport dnt expect much but it does gave lounge whr u can have food n rest for just 175 lira per person

Kayseri Airport is a small airport and it is one of the service airports, and it is located near the mountains. In the industrial city of Kayseri, Turkish Airlines is the main operator of this airport.
The airport itself is very simple with basic amenities. If you are a user of Turk Telekom, you can access the free internet, for others it is free for 15 minutes.

tiny little airport, very clean , looks like an old military base or still, the customs' was like super fast

Great little airport on arrival and departure. Very simply and easy to move around. No long walks. Quick check-in as there are only a few planes an hour at most. Arrive at least 1.5 hours before the flight.

This is international & domestic airport.
The airport is crowded, the security is really great,
waiting room is limited.
Check in baggage is super fast service.
There's no exact gate for your departure but the crew will be standing in front of the automatic door and check your boarding pass.
Also there's no public Wi-Fi, the only available Wi-Fi can be accessed with your Turkish simcard (limited to 15 minutes usage)

During my recent journey from London Stansted to Kayseri via Sabiha Gokcen transit, I encountered an unfortunate incident where my luggage went missing. As a result, I experienced considerable stress and upset. However, upon arriving in Kayseri, I had the privilege of being assisted by Mr. Halit, who went above and beyond to resolve the situation efficiently and with utmost care.

Throughout the process, Mr. Halit demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication. He diligently worked on my case, ensuring that I received daily feedback and timely updates regarding the status of my lost luggage. Small airport. Quickly passed the passport control. Also it was huge surprise, we opened the season this year so that's why staff met us with flowers and orchestra

Simple no frills airport. Get down from the aircraft. Collect your baggage from the collection belt and get out. Nice and easy.
