Golcuk Nature Park

Another beautiful place in Turkey. We took a few circles around the lake. I highly recommend visiting it. It can be quite crowded on holidays and weekends.

It is an artificially built lake 13 kilometers south of Bolu city center. The surface of the lake, whose altitude is 1217 meters, is 4.5 hectares and its circumference is approximately 1300 meters. The lake, surrounded by pine, fir, beech, hornbeam and mixed species of trees, has a magnificent view in all seasons. On the edge of the lake, which is covered with the extraordinary beauty of nature, there is a cute building, which is the "State Guest House" of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Apart from this facility, there is a restaurant, country restaurant, cafeteria, buffet, masjid and bungalow type accommodation facilities around the lake. The lake and its surroundings are protected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as a "Nature Park". This lake, which is very cute and small, is not accessible by vehicle.Gölcük Nature Park is one of the most important touristic centers of Bolu, which is heavily influenced by visitors to visit, see, relax, take photos, sport angling, bicycle tour and picnic at certain times of the year.

Beautiful ,a must see place especially in winter..

the lake is so beautiful, and just walking there is refreshing. however, for me and my group, our fav time there is when we "accidentally" found the most beautiful hiking route, and we just started a quick hike. i remember that it started from the opposite side of the lake entrance and that we had to jump over a stream.

Such a magical place. Very clean and natural fresh air. Enjoyable to take a walk and picnic with family, lovers and friends.

Very nice park. Entrance fee for cars and vehicles. The lake is beautiful. The natural scenery and views are breathtaking. Suitable for family and romance. The walk around the lake is freshening. Lots of tables for picnic and a small and nice kids area. Couple of food places. All in all a very beautiful experience. If you are in Bolu don't miss it.

A very beautiful, serene, natural and mesmerising lake surrounded by hills. It’s a must visit to get refreshed with nature. 25 minutes from Bolu centre

Very beautiful view. Nice walking path. The lake was semi frozen. The main restaurant is quiet expensive but the view is great.
Definitely must see in all seasons especially snowy winter when he lake is frozen n the area all white.
The forest around the lake is beautiful

It's a really beautiful place, the woods are amazing. It wasn't so crowded, we went by beginning of June on Thursday, it's a little bit cold and windy. You can sit next to the lake and definitely enjoy the view, there where cute Lotus flowers and lot of frogs noises, also some people were fishing but the lake is not so big. I don't recommend to buy food there, it's expensive, I only bought a coffee/latte it costed 28£, small size and tasted so bitter, liked over toasted.

Stunning! Great experience - the walk is easy; rest areas, water and WCs are available. There's even a playground.

It's near to Bolu, very nice vision and environment. The lake and the building near it, make this park amazing.

I think it might be the best natural place in Turkey.

Beautiful nature park, even in deep snowy winter, surrounded by forest, easy access, must visit if passing by Bolu. Visited again in autumn, fantastic place, avoid the weekends so there will be less crowd.

There is like 3 resturants there, but i recommend to bring your staff / food with you.

Stunning views! We had a nice walk around the lake and saw all forms of nature. We visited on a Saturday morning so it was a bit crowded but without feeling too crowded. We will definitely return!

Beautiful place but keep in mind it's a park and you can have a picnic there
