Koç Cağ Kebap

I ate cağ kebab in 3 different preferred places in Erzurum. Lastly, I ate at Koç Çağ Kebab, on 08.02.2024. It's really a place that does this job great. Even though we ate a lot of it, not a single piece of hard meat was found, the fat content was great.
The spice was very nice in my opinion, but some might find it too much. For your information, the paste that came with it was very bitter. Paste and onions are delivered as you request. They continue to bring the age until you say okay.
They said they were the inventors of the age, and I think they really are. In other places, you don't have to pay 90 lira per skewer, here you only pay 60 lira per skewer. A great place, I would definitely recommend it.

Try everything in this restaurant. Kebabs, desserts, salads, teas, everything was great. The kebab cooked in the wood fire with the wrap is a legend!

The Cag kebab is excellent. The restaurant has been making just this since 1982. The current record is 30 kebabs if anyone wants to beat it.

They don't have a menu. So the prices are the following in January 2024:
- meat - 60 tl ( per stick )
- ayran - 30 tl
- desert - 60 tl

Best place for car kebab and very good price, service and taste

Excellent Cag Kabab, from the historic and famous spot.

The staff is very kind and the owner’ poems of wisdom ornate the walls.

Solid Cağ Kebap place. Great taste, clean and cosy interior, must vist if you are in Erzurum.

The correct place to eat the Cağ Kebab. The kebab is awesome (just a little too salty), all the food they bring on the table was perfect. The hot spicy ezme was one of the best that I have ever eaten. Also their kadayıf dolması was the best I have ever had. Great balance of crunchy on the inside, nuts, sweetness and wetness in the inside. The price we paid for 14 sishes of Cağ, one kadayıf dolması and drinks for 6 was less than 400 Liras. If you visit Erzurum, this place should be one of your stops.

Great, super tasty

Delicious tasty grilled fatty meat (şiş doner), each weights around 75g and costs 11TL, serving came very fast (less than two minutes), reasonable prices, once you start it is hard to stop, I eat 7 sticks and could have eaten more.
Also you can order delicious sweet (dolma kadayıf), and drink free tea.

Classical style Cağ Kebabı is in place. The owner of the restaurant known as the inventor of the Cağ Kebabı. You may also experience same alike taste with same style under the same name in Antalya and Ankara. And the specific to Cağ Kebabı is you should say enough to the servings. Until then the one by one the skewer wil be served with kebap. Also you may give a record breaking try for the maximum number eaten by you. :) Yet the Kadayıf dolması is a must try dessert. Kadayıf is a sweet pastry with a texture similar to that of shredded wheat.
