Restaurant L'ESCALE

Lovely little restaurant hidden away behind two other restaurants. The owner Mustafa was sincere and very accommodating. Food was delicious and accompanied by some lovely local wine! I ordered the sea bream with couscous, finished off with some mint tea- all of which were divine. Worth a visit!!

Lovely little restaurant with an amazingly charismatic headwaiter. However the restaurant is hidden behind two cafés and thus hard to notice/find.

Looks really clean and healthy with a great sea themed style.

The food was really good but a bit slow on delivery.

Note, cats are prone to be nearby and look at you eating :)

Lovely little restaurant. Delicious food, good white wine (something we've struggled to find on our trip in Tunisia!) and friendly, fun staff. We'd definitely go back.

Enkel een drankje gedronken om even af te koelen, de ober/eigenaar ontving ons met open armen. Zo vriendelijk en charismatisch deze man!

Petit restaurant agréable, avec terrasse ombragée.
Accueil impeccable, nous y avons mangé poissons et fruits de mer.
Rien à dire, je recommande.

Accueil très chaleureux, serveur vraiment aimable et aux petits soins, l'emplacement est un chouya en retrait du port mais très agreable, les plats sont très bon, le couscous excellent ainsi que la kamounia au poulpe un regal

Ottimo!!

I struggled a bit to get hold of the waiters when I was sitting outside but when they weren't rushing around they were friendly and helpful. I only had a drink here but the atmosphere was lovely and so was the view. The complimentary limoncello with the bill was also very sweet! I'll come back to try the food.

We were stopped by the owner and ushered into his restaurant. The service was wonderful, he was a very genuine and honest man that we truly adored and seemed to have a lot of pride in what he was offering. Unfortunately the seats looked a bit mouldy and the wooden decking was crumbling. We were very unsure what the food was going to be like and my partner only wanted ice cream. So we paid for the drinks and left. He seemed heart broken. Please sir, clean up your chairs and your decking. We wish you so much success because we both truly feel you deserve it.

Во-первых, обман во многом, начну с того, что зазывала сказал, что ресторан рыбный, а на самом деле не рыбный, обычный. Ладно, заказали самые большие креветки, а принесли самые маленькие. Далее, у нас небыло динар и мы расплачивались долларами, нам посчитали по курсу 2.5, тогда когда везде считают честно, по 2.8. Во-вторых, грязно, мухи, куча "дохлых" чихающих котов. Скатерти с пятнами, кресла сальные, пол заляпан.
В третьих, музыку не включили, хозяева находились рядом и громко говорили.
В общем после того, как мы увидели "креветки" мы больше ничего не заказали. Прошлись дальше и нашли супер ресторан (название не помню, созвучно со словом "мидии")

L’escale nous a offert un voyage gastronomique de la cuisine tunisienne comme seule la perle du Sahel peut vous l’offrir….
Attention, il faut avoir l’estomac bien accroché….
En bref, les plats étaient très bons mais ils faut se méfier de certains produits, comme par exemple l’eau non minérale ou certains accompagnements type légumes…
Une mention spéciale pour le patron, qui était malgré tout très sympathique.
Méfiez vous tout de même du tarif qui peut être appliqué à la tête du client.

Petit restaurant au coin du port, plutôt bien situé avec un bon accueil !
Le rapport qualité prix n'est pas aux attendus ! En effet, nous voulions manger un calamar farcie et de l'agneau mais malheureusement beaucoup trop de produit ne pouvait pas être vendu ! Alors le serveur nous a proposé un plateau de fruit de mer et de poissons sans nous annoncer le tarif ! Je regrette ce manque de transparence !
La note a la fin était plutôt salée pour voir que les toilettes étaient immondes ! Je comprend les toilettes sont peut être qu'une option mais il s'agit de la maison mère de nos besoins primaires !
Même si il est coutume de payer en espèce il est pénible de devoir aller retirer avec le serveur au premier TPE !

Monsieur le chef a les bonnes paroles pour nous attirer sur ça terrasse de son restaurant,
A première vue, assiette pas très propre mais débarrasser avant d’être servi par nos plats.
Nous commandons une bouteille d’eau Qui pour nous semblait être déjà ouverte nous exigeons une autre, mais nous sert la même..
Rapport qualité prix ps terrible(crevettes congelés ou pas très fraiches..a voir
Dommage pour un établissement au bord du port..
