Dar Dhiafa

This boutique hôtel has a magnificent architecture… the hotel as such is worth a visit. Rooms are simple but very elegant and all have a wonderful architecture. At night the hotel is romantically lit by lots of indirect lights. Staff is really friendly, hotel restaurant serves really good food. Breakfast is very ok. En top it is in a very nice neighbourhood full of wonderful street art and bars/cafes/restaurants. If you do not like the mass tourism feeling like in the Djerba souk… stay here… we stayed 2 nights with a daughter of 10.

I’ve used only service of the restaurant. And in general I satisfied. The lamb was cooked nice and was left tender and juicy. Goat cheese which was introduced in the name of the dish I suppose wasn’t from goat milk. I guess it was just a Camembert. Alcohol options are surprisingly impressive if we keep in mind that we are in a Muslim country.

A significant drawback is the presence of people smoking in the atrium, causing smoke to infiltrate the restaurant and detracting from the overall enjoyment of the atmosphere, service, and food.

We love Dar Dhiafa. The staff, the rooms, the decor, the food, the service, the vibes… really everything is wonderful there and it’s the first place I would recommend staying in Djerba.

We stayed at Dar Dhjafa on our trip to Tunisia. We liked it very much. Very friendly and humorous staff. Very quiet and central location. Good drinks and reasonable prices. We even spontaneously extended our stay by one night. We will be happy to come back.

The place is lovely, cozy with nice atmosphere, friendly staff and owners. The architecture is really a piece of art, you will love the rooms and the comfortable beds. Also the hotel is right in the art neighbour.

Very nice hotel in Djerbahood with two pools, bar, restaurant, and courtyards; property is designed in traditional style and rooms are decorated nicely. Ended up eating dinner at the hotel as no restaurants (besides fast food) were open nearby - Djerbahood is not a lively place compared with Houmt Souk or Djerba Medun. Staff were very helpful. Note that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only the lobby: this could have been better advertised.

We stayed for just one night in the Princess Sherazade suite, because we had booked another place in advance, but then we came back almost daily for dinner, lunch, coffee. The suite is beautifuly decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was pretty balanced from our point of view.
We enjoyed most the quiet atmosphere, always smiling & helpful staff and the very nice pools. Also, the lighting in the evening is magnificent.
The restaurant serves some traditional dishes, grilled fish and good desserts. We liked in particular the sea bream, shrimps with garlic, creme brulee.
Because in the days of our holiday the heat was almost unbearable and it was impossible to do many things outside, we found at Dar Dhiafa an oasis of tranquility and comfort - cold pool, nice people, good food & beverages. Also, the masseuse is very polite and professional.

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and it was an oasis in between how hectic and intense can be the city and touring for two ladies travelling alone in Tunisia. The architecture and deco of the place is following the local guidelines and it is very inspiring and resonating. There is a cute swimming pool to cool down during the intense afternoon heat if you dont want to drive to the beach. The food is very good and the stuff is very willing to help you. If you dont expect a star restaurant service it is a great and kind service. All the stuff is very kind and willing to help out with the best way possible working day and night. The location is great. Djerbahood is amazing to walk around and there are many cute shops with local artworks. Totally recommending it!

If you search for a quiet, private and bohemian atmosphere then you reach the right destination.

We went for dinner and had an excellent meal with good service. Great cocktails before dinner next to the pool.

Totally amazing in every way. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. The restaurant served up the best food we had in two weeks in Tunisia. The neighborhood is safe and a great place for a walk. The public areas in the hotel and the staff were top-flight. Stay here!

Extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay. The place theme, architecture and decoration is an amazing marriage between local traditions and modernity.
The staff was warm and very welcoming. Silence is probably one other luxury you can enjoy there. Try it

Located in the djerbahood it is a calm and serene place with beautiful ambience that we didn't feel like leaving the place... the massage was great and the lady who did the reflexology is really good and knowledgeable. I Guess her name is Narjit. Thanks Dar Dhiafa for making our tour memorable

one of the most tastefully decorated hotels i've ever visited. staff was very kind and the neighborhood is a delight for streetart lovers and wanderers.

This place was really very charming. It is right in Djerbahood near all the wall art. It is decorated very cozy with courtyards and a meticulous restoration. The food is great and the owner is awesome; she is very helpful and kind. If you are coming to Djerba, i would, without a doubt, recommend staying here.

Excellent restaurant. The chef prepared a special vegetarian meal for us. We also had a delicious cocktail from their new bar.

We only went here for lunch. Great food and excellent service in a wonderful calm courtyard! Probably the best place in Djerba, which is otherwise struggling with the remnants of mass tourism.

The place to be to relax and enjoy the utmost of relaxation and comfort, great welcoming, fantastic service, quiet and exceptional hygiene level, would go back for sure.
