Vincci Helios Beach

Just spent a week at the Helios in a bungalow. Overall the rooms are outdated, old furniture, old bathroom, some sockets don't work, shower doors are not sealed and leaking, no decorations are all, bare walls...
BUT
It doesnt really matter. It's spotless clean and the hotel amenities are so great you dont really spend time in your room.
The food is incredible, I'm picky and have quite a few intolerances but I could eat a different meal every day.
The staff is the friendliest I've ever dealt with, everyone is so nice and helpful, they were the highlight of my stay, from the cleaners to the waiters and the entertainement team, everybody is a superstar. And there are stray cats everywhere, which was a bonus for us
Can't wait to come back next year! (if all the sockets could work, though, that would be a plus!)

The beat hotel on Djerba, cery good location, honest and hard working Staff.
Though a week od my stay i haven't a single thing that was wrong. The best part od the Staff was Alios, Who always knew how to make whole team laugh and would be very helpfull and casting when we need it

We just came back and have been absolutely happy with all the services. To be more specific:
+ location is perfect,directly at the beach
+ water slides which were super fast
+ wide choice of meals
+ reusable plastic caps, which the bartenders continually collected and kept the area around the swimming pool tidy
+ proximity to the crocodile pharm
+ friendly team of animators, namely Mimi and Obama were loved by children and us alike

- one of (fortunately many) toilets near the dining hall was out of order

The people here in the hotel (staff) is excellent. I have never seen any staff so happy and cheerful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned everyday of our stay. The swimming pool is like mirror, though the water is cool keeping weather in mind. We are vegetarian and the chef has gone out of the way to cook food of our choices. The hotel has various programs and activities whole day so there’s nothing to think what to do next.

The charm of this hotel are not the rooms, not the food that much BUT the ANIMATION team and the STAFF!!! Friendly, smiling and hard working!

Rooms were clean thanks to the lovely cleaning lady, who cleaned my room for 10 days. Thank you! I was always full thanks to the tasty food! Location is just perfect! Great beach outsite the hotel as well!

Special Thanks to the whole animaton team and their zumba, dancing classes, stretching classes and all the activities that you provided! I enjoyed every one of them. Great shows in the evening as well!

You made me all happy and super satisfied with my stay! Keep up the great work!

SUGGESTION to the management: Please organise a TIP BOX for the animation team, as there is one on every bar for the bar attenders. The animation team deserves a lot of tips for their great effort and I am sure everyone would leave some for them!!!

I've been to a few resorts and must say this is one of the best, extremely family friendly. The staff make this place, everyone is so welcoming and always speak to you. The restaurant staff are immense, there was a gentleman who worked in the evening who also made my son smile by talking to him and feeding him for a moment. This is a great place for families and couples a like. So Pros and Cons

Only one to be honest, the rooms are a little dated and could do with a little TLC but I must say they are kept clean and the cleaning lady for the 200s rooms was spot on so it's not a big con at all. Put it this way it hasn't stopped me from giving a 5 star rating.

It was a super stay with great hospitality and the cherry on the cake was the dance sessions in the night with Nour and the rest of the team !!! Super archery and all the animation themes , darts and exercise and yoga sessions. All in all a wonderful stay.

We were/are 11 days in this hotel so far we were very satisfied with everything.
The overall package was right, the food was delicious and we think everyone can get full here and you can experience some culinary delights. not only with the food, also with the animation. There is a program for everyone here, starting with dart games and ending with individual shows in the evening, in every language represented in the hotel.

We also wanted to plan tours outside of the hotel. We did this through a dealer in the hotel, and he literally forced it on us. we weren't even here for an hour. At some point we gave in, unfortunately we were very dissatisfied and found out afterwards that these salespeople do not belong to the hotel and are only tolerated here. only book tours directly at the reception, not on the beach or through dealers, here you pay twice as much and will be disappointed

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, staff always friendly and helpful. Tasty food, fruits and cakes! Lovely garden full of palm tree's, nice beach with warm water. Problem with seaweeds but every morning tractors are doing their best to clean up. And the cherry on the top is the dancing animators team! Just love them!

We enjoyed our vacation.

We have been to Djerba several times, this was the first time in this hotel.

Room - with a view of the sea even without prior reservation, accommodation in a menzel-type garden. The room is older, but certainly adequate. Close to the pool and the sea.

Food - always enough - everyone chooses, TOP desserts, water always available in unlimited quantities.

Sea and beach - the beach is cleaned daily, the sea was beautifully clean during our stay, minimal grass.

Cleaning - satisfaction.

Staff - friendly, smiling, helpful.

I had an accident - slipped in an outdoor restaurant on wet pavement - broke my arm - the staff responded immediately, they were very helpful. I have to greatly appreciate the willingness and personal friendly approach of Mr. "Adel" - the hotel paramedic, who took me immediately and picked me up again at the La Douce clinic after the operation. He took care of things at the pharmacy, bandaged and looked after me until I left the hotel. Please give him my big thanks. Mr. "Adel" is SUPER. I have a permanent souvenir from Djerba - five screws in my hand :). Many thanks to Dr. Anis Ziraoui from the named clinic for a perfectly done job, which was also highly appreciated by the doctors here in the Czech Republic. Even though I had a limited amount of work until the end of my stay, I enjoyed my vacation and we will be happy to return.

Minor dissatisfaction is perhaps only with the reception - almost five-hour wait for a room and the necessity to pay the tourist tax even for a child of 11 years, although according to the description, children up to 12 years old have to pay.

We came here to the vinnci Helios beach 5 days ago and we find super animation team with really awesome attitude and really helpful. Shows were really nice and enjoyable. Really appreciate animators team.

Holidays in this hotel were beautiful and great. Animatuon team is fun, we will miss Nour, Roul and Alex. Food is good also. Beach is most beautiful by this hotel

We were here for the second time. The hotel is located on the beautiful clean beach in the awesome tropical garden. All staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is perfect, the menu changes every day and you can choose from local or international cousine.
Animation team is awesome. They do a really good job. Showtime is always a very nice and funny experience.

Speechless! Starting from reception, boys and the girls who work for Animation/entertainers until room keeping service.. everyone were really nice, respectful! Different shows for kids and grownups everyday, dancing good Musik and nice people! Everyone speaks at least German, English and French, among other Languages a lot of them can speak Polish, Russian, Italien.. Definitely gonna visit Tunisia again, and definitely gonna stay at this hotel again! One week was not enough to enjoy this beautiful hotel with all that it has to offer.

Nice location next to long Beach. One of the best. Lounge zone is perfect. A lot of light and modern style zone next to reseption. Separate dance zone and bar.the animation is very very weak.
Great sistem all inclusive. Always good food with choice. Drinks. Warm Swimming pool. Gym. Good service. Reseption team speak English, German, French and Russian.

Bright Room with sea views 32m2 with a big bed decorated in modern style and nice. 30 min by taxi to airport.
Here more young couples and solo travelers.

Nice Hotel, very clean here and the Service speaks like every international language. Also the food is great. The animateurs are very funny too! Good location! Only Bad ging is, that you dont have Wifi in your rooms.

In my opinion I found that the animation was extremely good. The miniclub ensure that my child entertained every day and participated in the various activities. They took great care of my child and insured that he had a good holiday

I like nour , dances are awesome, v good staff . 3 nice swimpool . Nice beach . Good workers . The best in worlds animstoin
