Yun Lai Viewpoint

One of the best viewpoint in Pai. You will go through the Chinese village then up to hill. The entry fee is 20bath. They provide homestay and camping service. I went here at sunset and not much people, easy for photo taking.

Can rent a tent for a night and watch the sunset and sunrise. It was great and quiet at night. In the morning, many tourists come for sunrise. There are hot water showers.

Little Yunan ( China village ) , you can see the inter connectedness of cultures from this vantaged Viewpoint. Fresh air, 360 views, options for mountain top tent camping, photo ops galore, beverages, food and many mega shady tables to sit and scan the valley below and the mountains above !

You cannot get to the top by car. There is a parking lot and a shuttle bus for 300 baht to the top. You can easily walk there as well.

Beautiful place and worth the drive if you are near Pai at all. We enjoyed hanging out here for a couple of hours and having snacks in front of the view.

Quite a steep inclined towards the top. Views are fantastic. Also there is a restaurant nearby the viewpoint

Absolutely fantastic view! Definitely one of the best that I've seen in the North Thailand region! Only 20 Baht entry fee and is definitely worth it! You can also get some drinks or snacks here too so it can be a nice little stop on your journey!

Free parking at the village and pay 300baht/van for round trip up to the viewpoint (too steep to drive by your own car, but bike could try) 20baht/person to enter viewpoint. Best place to see sea of mist. You can order breakfast there (20baht/pot of tea, 15baht/bun) Fried bun with condensed milk is heavenly. Many people and tour go for sunrise around 6-7am, after that is all quiet.

Tickets are 20baht on arrival, be aware this is a popular spot for sunrise so expect lots of others enjoying the same scene.

A magical place to propose or fall in love. The viewpoint is a homage to the city of Pai and the surrounding mountains. From this view, you can see the sun rise above the mountain tops.

Beautiful place. Would recommended hiring a scooter to get there, very steep hill just before entrance.

Went there for the sunrise and I was not disappointed. It was a cloudy day so we didn’t see the sun but with the mountain covered in fog it was still stunning and we didn’t regret our early trip there. The fog adds to the beauty.

I wasn’t expecting a cafe at the top but we could buy breakfast, snacks, pastries and beverages. It is only 15min drive from Pai and the roads were easy to drive on with a scooter
