Pai is just a great town. Full of very relaxed people. You have to rent a scooter there so you can visit the canyon, waterfalls and other tourist attractions. The walking street at night is full of food stalls where you can eat all kind of nice things.

It's a must to explore this Walking Street if you are in Pai. So many food to try, you can choose : Thai, Japanese, Korean, Western, Mexican, Halal Food. And it's extremely cheap comparing with Bangkok or Chiang Mai & delicious.

Also a good place to buy souvenirs, trinkets, handmade products, clothes, painting. Don't forget to buy postcards, and send it directly at 1 shop that sells the stamp too.

The sellers are polite & friendly and some can speak good English.

Open everyday from 6-10PM.

So many amazing food stall vendors and quirky shops! You have to try the Burmese roll from the salad truck "Kwanskie's" (see pictures, the stall currently doesn't have a sign), it packs a punch of flavour! Great place to just have a wander around.

Traditional Thai walking street with a night market. You can taste various kinds of food and try many kinds of different flavours. There is black sticky rice with sesame and condensed milk, fresh spring rolls, burgers, vegan food, skewers, pad thai, rotee, cakes, sushi, seafood, squid, burgers, kebabs, tacos etc. to mention but a few. There are also shops and bars in the area. You can meet many performers who will sing, dance or play musical instruments.

An evening vibe at Pai night market or walking street to unwind the tiredness of adventurous daytime tours with great variety of food, drinks, handmade souvenirs, clothing, postcards...and so many many more! Be careful. You can be broke! Hahaha! But really really worth it anyway. 😁😃😄😅

You can always find delicious traditional thai or western style food while taking a stroll down the walking street and all for a very reasonable price, ranging from 5 baht snacks to 90 baht burgers or shawarma. Lots of cool stalls set up with locally made crafts or great gift ideas. A friendly environment and a definite must see every evening from 6-10pm.

Love walking this food market. So many vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. My absolute favourite is the Burmese tea leaf salad with avocado. It's my first stop when I get here and everyday that I'm here. It's sooo delicious. You can also get samoas, gyozas and so much more... including desserts and beverages. Make sure to go with an empty stomach.

Gotta visit! Just walk and try the food that peaks your interest. Don't wait until you reach the end. Just buy what you think might taste good along the way. So many good food stalls and trinkets to pick from. Also towards the end, follow the live music and have some drinks and explore!

Plenty of food, souvenir shops and numerous choices. There are authentic food stalls as well as western food such as burgers and pizzas. The street is just magical, the vibe is very welcoming and relaxed. So far Pai has been the best place we visited in Thailand.

Loved it! Pai definitely cools down in the evening so pack long pants and long sleeves, even a sweater or two. Tried so many cool and unusal foods and there was lots of beautiful bags, jewelry, clothing, and more. Then the bars open and there were lots of options for live music (be prepared to spend a lot on alcohol though)

Great place for food and street shopping. Lots of food options (incl Veg food). Reasonably priced. Vendors wont come after your life asking you to buy stuff you dont need. Good experience.

This was a great place to experience Pai nightlife. Several shops with a large variety of items for sale at unbelievable prices. All types of food from buttered sweet corn to pizza to seafood and pad thai. Many bars had live music, some had free pool.

I came to Pai for 2 days 1 night with my girlfriend and parents. We quickly realised this was not enough time. We loved it so much that we started planning our next trip here while we were still there. I recommend hiring a scooter or doing a half or full day tour to the local waterfalls. For food, try the different cool cafes during the day, then eat at the food stalls at night, amazing food and so so cheap.

BIG TIP!!!!!: Try and avoid PAI and all of north Thailand in the smokey season if you can (March mostly), the air quality and pollution is pretty bad. You can see the smokiness in the photos, these photos are all mid afternoon. Despite this, this was still an amazing place to visit, I can only imagine how good it will be when we go back in November 😁

It is a cultural experience, albeit with too many tourists.

Food stores are well scattered through out the street, get your fill of tea or coffee from cafes littered along the streets.

Get your shopping fix or local souvenirs as well

The place for me is perfect! I loved sitting at Malamong Art Cafe and sip hot ginger tea on a bamboo made cup. There's a lot of food to choose from with very reasonable prices.

Peaceful night market. Had one of the best tasty and juicy mango sticky rice in Thailand. 3 sticky rice (Padman, Pea flower and normal rice) , sweetest juicy mango, crunchy yellow lentil and coconut milk for 40 bth. I When I asked the lady about the secret of her food , she said “I have been doing it for 12 years, I pick the best mango, taste it before I serve to customer and picks flowers from the forest to make different flavored rice. Amazing! Thanked her for being creative.

We loved the market, there all all kinds of shops selling nearly everything. You have to try the local food carts they are too good, the food is tastier than the restaurants. There are also lots of bars that play live music at night. Just make sure thay you will bargain for anything here!
