Deejai Pai

If you’re looking for a chill stopover come here! The common space was amazing, one of the best common spaces that I’ve seen in hostels. The food is a bit more expensive then what you would find in town but because it’s about a 30 min walk away, it’s worth it to some. If you have scooters, this hostel is very easily accessible. We stayed in a 16 person dorm and it was okay, but I recommend getting a smaller room if you can. Our bathrooms were quite messy throughout our stay. Free yoga was a nice perk in the morning and they have a lot of other activities to do as well to get to know others. Lots of live music and weed smoking as well! Enjoy!

Wow! This was truly an incredible hostel stay. There's fires every night and yoga every morning. The expressive art class I did at sunset was so heart-filling and surreal. Ice baths happen daily (small fee) and I felt so empowered after Daria helped guide me through the experience. Highly recommend!

Honestly I could write an entire novel about how amazing this place is but I will try to condense it into the one review. Deejai will forever have a special place in my heart. This hostel has everything you could want as a backpacker; amazing food, comfy beds, hot showers, and great company. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Deejai can offer you any type of experience you are looking for in Pai, whether it’s a campfire jam sesh, cacao ceremonies , ecstatic dances, fire jams, and much much much more. Could not recommend this place enough 10/10!

Sam gave the best welcome tour! They have lots of activities, free yoga at 9am, campfire in evenings. You will need to rent a scooter to get here but it's beautiful to be outside the town for a few days.

The vibe of this place is so special and unique. I was pleasantly surprised by so much during my stay. The crowd is somewhat young but everyone was very respectful and welcoming. Yoga classes every morning and all different types of activities planned everyday. The food is great and the views out in the rice fields are amazing. A scooter is a must but everywhere you want to see in pai require a scooter so its no big deal. Definitely recommend trying them out

Deejai is a really unique hostel. It provides such a great range of activities, including yoga, breath work, ice baths, art workshops, fire-spinning, and many more. As a result, it attracts a really interesting and social crowd. It is located a little bit further outside of Pai and has an amazing view of the mountains. Highly recommend.

Deejai Pai is the best! The people are amazing, the vibes are so good and the hostel is so beautiful. It is very social but not a party hostel, and everyone is so chill and open minded. The views are also incredible, and the many activities each day keep you busy. A great place to retreat to to ground yourself, and I wish I could stay longer!

A social hostel in the most tranquil area. Good place to connect with people and join daily activities such as yoga or breathwork. If you are searching for the perfect combination between a new adventure and calmness this is the place for you.

This is my favourite hostel in Pai. A very safe, beautiful, space to be in. Lots of workshops, events and things happening here that I really enjoyed 💗

The hostel has one of the best vibes I've ever been to. The social area is very large and has an amazing view. It's a bit out of town so renting a scooter makes sense. The staff are mostly volunteer backpackers who got stuck there. Various activities are offered during the day and in the evening. I would go back to this hostel again and again. The dorms are 16 bed dorms equipped with basic beds. Highly recommended!!

Had such an incredible time here as a solo female backpacker. The yoga every morning, the staff and the overall ambience of this place was great. I planned to stay for two nights and ended up staying for two weeks. They had really nice activities planned in the day. It was my first time staying in a hostel and I’m glad this was the place 🤗🙏🏽

I loved this hostel, amazing vibe here. Everyone there was so friendly and made lots of friends. Yoga in the morning looking onto the rice fields and water buffalo grazing was beautiful. No curtains on beds which was a problem, only one sink in room for 16 people but there was a whole shower and bathroom place the opposite end of the hostel. Hostel dogs were so cute !!

Amazing hostel, great voluteers and a very honest spirit there. Great to connect with other travelers. I would recommend you to get a scooter in the city to reach the place because it is a little outside of the main city, but very quite because of that during the night (except the dogs, but they keep you safe ;-)). Honestly it was the best place i've been. Such an amazing vibe they have there. Also the free yoga in the morning lets you start your day quite early & very balanced as well. I would like to thank the amazing staff there - i will definately come back in the future!

My stay at Deejai was so much more than I could have expected. I tried and learned so many new things, I met friends for life but most of all I’ve never met more like-minded people with whom I’ve connected so intens as here.
It’s not just the stunning location, it’s the vibe, their vision, the way of life that makes it such a beautiful experience.

Wonderful hostel right outside the town of Pai. The staff is also super nice. Many activities everyday. My room was super messy, but it's NOT hostel's fault. I guess hippie lifestyle comes with compromises.

If you are looking for more than a hostel, if you care about true interpersonal connections, healthy lifestyles and principles, meditation and breath work workshops, ice baths and fire shows, you are lucky!! you just found the best place ever!
