Papa's Pedals

Absolutely brilliant place. We're cycling the Mae Hong Son loop and Papa got us spare inner tubes for a pump to replace ours at very short notice. Very kind man and showed us how the equipment worked.

Only 50B for a whole days hire. The bikes are comfortable enough and we managed an 18km in the heat just fine on them. Pappa is very friendly, checked our tire pressures and made sure we all had helmets and locks for the bikes. Smiles all around

We rented 2 bicycles for the day and made it to the canyon. The service was excellent and papa’s adjusted the seat for us.

What a lovely man! He was very quick to sort us out with bikes, helmets and locks. The bike was perfect - I had one with a basket and used it for 3 days. Would highly recommend. His daughter was also really helpful with the communication.

Papa’s pedals is the best!! It’s really just a guys house and it might not look open for business but if you just walk up to the house with all the bikes in the yard, he will come out and greet you! Very kind and generous man. He loves bikes! He outfitted us with bikes, good quality helmets, and locks all for 50b/person/day. We were able to arrange to keep the bikes for a second day. Had a great time biking around Pai thanks to papa. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing service here! Papa is such a nice person that just makes you happy and helps you with everything. He is very happy and social even though he speaks very limited English, still it is easy to understand him. The service is also super cheap, 50 bht for a day rental. So I highly recommend this place!

The cutest man ever! He really takes care of you. He will show the bikes and then make sure the bike is working well. Oil the chains, make you do a test drive, check the brakes and he even wanted to give me new seat. Best decision to rent a bike from him.

Absolute gent of a man, very kind, knows his way around his bikes. Dont be discouraged by some of the bikes you may initially see, he has the ones he rents out and others he uses for spare parts and repairs. Some very reliable bikes and does a full check on them before setting you on your way, including tire pump or/and oiling if needed.

Definitely recommend, if you don't see him, he is probably inside, just call out 'Sawadeeka/b" and he'll come out with a big smile.

He has good and clean helmets to provide as well, I got a big head and it wasn't an issue.

More for casual bike renting, both casual road bikes and mountain bikes. This isn't for high value rentals.

We rented two bikes, one MTB( 100 BHT/day) and a city bike (50 BHT/day). Great service, got a tour of his workshop. Both bikes worked great and we got all the accessories we needed. Cheap and reliable. We would really recommend renting her :)

Papa is a very nice and huble person. I rented mountain bike there for whole day and it was just 100 baht. Papa rents bikes without any deposit and that is so nice.

Papa is the nicest guy in Pai, if not in Thailand! His shop looks run down, but the mountain bike I hired for 100baht was in perfect condition. Helmet, lock, bottle cage, everything - and it was a great ride. Papa is nothing but smiles and kindness!

The location is accurate, there’s no sign so don’t try to look for signboard. Just walk in the yard with lots of bicycles.
Papa is the nicest person I’ve ever met, his bicycles are well maintained, cycling in Pai is a great experience, there are so many sceneries worth to stop by.

great bikes for a good price! I have taken bikes elsewhere and I will say that papa’s pedals are the best. The brakes work great, the chain is lubricated, the bike rides well everywhere. I enjoyed it! Also, the owner does not take a deposit or a passport, he gave me a good lock and a pump. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Papa is so friendly and helpful! Had issues with my brakes and my chain needed oil and Papa fixed it up in no time. Definitely recommend his shop if anyone needs bicycle repairs.

Papa’s is owned by a very nice and sweet man who loves bikes. The place may look run down (he uses old bikes for parts) but the bikes were perfect. He’s not trying to hustle you like other bike shops, he’s just genuinely happy you’re there.
