Paitopia

Paitopia was a neat place in a very special location in Pai. Honestly, anything I did in Thailand was fun so I could be bias. I just thought this place had charm and was different than anywhere I had been.

Amazing place to escape from downtown and feel like you're right in the mountains. Many other reviews pointed out some of the few flaws: the dogs can be noisy and so can the guests, but they are a small price to pay compared to how great everything else is..the staff were also super helpful (shout out to you Amy and the friendly bartender who solved my lighter crisis). About 10 minute walk to Paradise bar and 20 minutes to walking street. I would stay again and it is absolutely worth it to ask for a mountain view hut. Thanks again for an amazing vacation!

Really lovely place to stay, good food and good value for a shared room. They have a pool here and a bar which is a nice bonus. Also their animals are adorable especially the dog called 'Chewy' and their cat Lulu. Only a 5 minute scooter ride to the centre and they offer scooter rental here too. Great place to stay in Pai!

Very nice and chilled, great price. Rooms were small and nice, very clean with amazing views. They place has a few dogs which I loved. Food from restaurant is nice but very slow. Pool could be cleaner, it has a very green hue and lots of floating wildlife.

Really new hostel which has great dorm rooms (comfy beds!) clean toilets, good wifi, pool, bar/restaurant and cute little bungalows. Great staff and atmosphere. A little out of town though (10min walk) but sits amongst the rice paddies - really beautiful view. Nice and quiet too. Highly recommend!

Paitopia is a fantastic place to get a great feel for the vibe of Pai! Great people, great rooms, great pool, and a great owner! (She also owns Purple Monkey hostel in Pai as well which is a👌 - check it out) The Sunday brunch buffet is to die for and I can’t wait for my next visit here! Highly recommended for those looking to party or just chill. Be sure you to ask about the jungle parties thrown ever couple of weeks 😎 GREAT PLACE!

Great place. Walking distance from Pai Center and still feels and looks like you're in the middle of the beautiful Thai countryside. Basic but very charming bungalows, some of which have an amazing view over the rice fields. Would recommend it to any duo or couple with kids travelling Thailand.
Dinner is served on reservation, but the 1000 restaurants of Pai are a 10m walk away.
March '17 they're still in the middle of building new bungalows and the place seems far from finished, but seems to be going an even better experience in the future. Hope they buy some softer beds in the future, they're like concrete.

This place is very simple and very very sweet. In many ways, quintessential Pai. We actually ended up not staying there after booking and the mangers were very understanding as we wanted a bungalow with a view. The views are truly spectacular. Nice pool, great vibe.

After originally booking a few nights, we ended up spending a whole month at Paitopia! The setting, our little bungalow, the bar etc. were all amazing - gorgeous sunsets, great pool and pool table, cheap drinks, idyllic surroundings. But the best part was the lovely staff that made our time there extra special. Annie and Lauren were some of the loveliest people we met in our travels, and truly made our stay at Paitopia a wonderful time. Thank you thank you thank you!

Just off the main road leading east out of Pai, Paitopia offers a quieter alternative to the party atmosphere of sites closer to the river. I stayed in a hut on stilts over a pond, and my front door looked over rice paddies to the eastern hills. The room is good-sized, the bed very comfortable. The communal shower/toilets are well situated. The owner and staff are exceptionally nice. The bar and pool are laid back and terrific. Other info: 10 minute walk to town, same-day laundry service, they can get scooters delivered for you at Paitopia.

Super cute hostel, we booked a private bungalow with a great view of the rice fields. Very clean, great people, the staff are wonderful! When we come back to pai this is where we will stay! Heads up the nights get quite cool so be prepared!

We had an amazing couple of days there in a bungalow. Paitopia is a perfect place to chill by the pool in the nature with lovely people working there. Annie was the best bartender! Only few minutes on a scooter from the centre.

Paitopia is a sweet little resort on the edge of central Pai, conveniently next to Paradise Bar and Bar Street. Filled with bungalows and cabins for rent, the facilities include a pool, a pool table, a bar and restaurant

The views are stunning, over-looking the mountains and rice paddies. It’s very scenic and peaceful.

The kitchen is run by locals and has a wide variety of excellent food and ingredients made from scratch. I highly recommend the cashew and chicken as well as the Khao Soy.

There are bike rentals on premise.

Definitely enjoy a night here, try the daquiris, play pool with locals, and spot some amazing wildlife, including the cuddly cats!

We went for the pool! We walked from town and it was a good walk. It is a bit far from "downtown" Pai,about 20 mins but so worth it! They also have a little restaurant/bar! Great prices! And great staff! My favorite was the pool because it is not treated like regular pools, not sure what they use, but it does not hurt your eyes or your skin!!

Beautiful hostel, lovely staff, swimming pool with outstanding mountain view. 2 min drive to the town, quite and chill but there's always someone to chat to. Free coffee/tea, clean dorms, good Wi-Fi, hot showers. 100% recommended.

I loved our little cabin, beautiful location, away from the noise of the town but close enough that you're not completely secluded. Love the pool and bar is super welcoming. Definitely coming back to paitopia.

Stayed for 8 days, absolutely loved it. Excellent place for new backpackers like myself, with special thanks to the staff (shoutout to Yezzy) for a warm introduction and guidance throughout our stay.

Paitopia was a comfortable haven for us with plenty of entertainment - swimming pool, hammocks, bike rental, bar with table-tennis and billiards and a host of adorable kitty cats

12 minute walk from Pai central, less than 5 mins by bike. Beautiful scenery from our room, which was reasonably priced at less than 500Baht (£12) per day. Would return in a heartbeat if Thailand is ever back on the travelling agenda.

Paitopia is just amazing. It's such a beautiful place in the rice fields with a breathtaking mountain view. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff was sooo friendly and helpful. Tamar made me feel like home and her cocktails are the best! I higly recommend this place!

Such a cool place. Not too fancy but tidy and relaxed vibe. We went in August / low season so there weren't too many other guests there but apparently it's a really fun place to hang out with lots of people as there is a great social area and pool.
The food here is 10/10.

Great place for travelers, reasonable price and close to town but away from the noise. The staff here is extremely helpful and very friendly. Get a motorbike if you want but if you'd rather walk to and from town Paitopia is a reasonable walk. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.
