Riverside Restaurant Betong 来福餐馆

Really cool small secluded chinese restaurant beside a running stream that's used to water the fish pond. At night might be disturb by flies and mosquitoes, during your dining but that's part of the experience. The service is really good, menu has picture if don't speak Thai or Mandarin to help you order your meal. Fish is a must order dish, really fresh and chunky also try their Betong chicken, low fat content.

a simple but nice place for good food n chill out with buddies. Love the tilapia fish, fresh fr the pond with just the right texture. the 1kg+ size is hard to find in msia and that adds to the thick flakes of meat in every bite for 100% satisfaction level, 吃得太过瘾了！ The owner Chong explained how the fish are reared in fresh water up in the hill thats why their meat is so naturally sweet, without tasting like mud. we had 2 meals there n tried out a deepfried version with gravy n steamed style, both are splendid in their own ways. A "palm core" dish was uniquely interesting. Betung chicken 白切style, so simple and tasty. we liked everything Chong recommended. Excellent food and a must visit when in Betung. ample parking space too.

The brinjal with minced pork n chicken with wine are amazingly good. Price is reasonable n service is also good. Parking is also a breeze with plenty of parking space available at the entrance

The food is good & pretty aromatic, Chinese style, strongly recommend the seafood glass noodle salad & paku stir-fried veg.

Best Thai food I’ve had. Fish was fresh, pork knuckle was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely come back again!

Have to make a reservation. Is worth it. I would recommend all Thai food, pork knuckles, Tom Yum soup, steam fish, and fried stuff.

Lovely and relaxing restaurant with the sound of the flowing creek next to it. Must try many dishes cooked by Ai Ling, the owner and her co-kitchen crew. Steamed Patin, Pork Knuckles, Steamed “White” Chicken soaked in their special soya sauce. If you are lucky, you will meet and have Uncle Chong serving you his “Thai Hospitality”! 😁

Dishes were excellent & deserve full 5 Star. Service is quick & relaxing ambiance.
Owner speak good English, makes recommendation for dishes & sizes the dishes to suit our group. All 3 meals bills was reasonable.
