Having completed a program at Siam rehabilitation I'm back at home with the tools I've been searching for to enable me to remain in sustained recovery after 20 years of addiction.
My journey the real recovery started with contact over the phone to the owners of Siam, Mint and Wade, their honesty and genuine kindness reassured me that Siam was the right place to go.
The programme was for me was a perfect blend, both very challenging and with ample free time in the surrounds of beautiful hills with awesome Thai style bungalow/villa private accommodation.
The housekeeping staff are all super friendly, with rooms cleaned daily and laundry service, it honestly didn't feel like rehab at times. Having mobiles and wifi in all free time was also a bonus enabling clients to stay in regular contact with family and friends.
I loved the science based approach to recovery and the counsellors bring their own experiences and success stories to the table to share and assist with the clients, they are more than honest and really good at what they do. Shout out to Earl you legend😀
The emphasis on physical health being a major part of recovery is backed up by a world-class gym, headed by Daeng and Jump, their one on one sessions as well as group sessions are awesome along with having enough free time to leave Siam in amazing shape.
The health based approach is also backed up by the amazing food prepared by chef Sine and his staff, every meal time presents a buffet Style spread of western/Thai cuisine, I can honestly say I miss the food.
Lastly clients all get the option to enjoy authentic Thai massage and a weekly outing to some awe inspiring sites, you can also go shopping on this day to a huge Tesco mart to get all the luxuries you are used to at home for the week.
To wrap it up all I can say is a huge heartfelt thankyou to Wade and Mint and all their amazing staff at Siam, I can't say my time there was always easy, it's rehab, but I can say I am so very glad to have put my faith in the whole program they run there, I gained enormous and invaluable insights and tools to keep me going forward and in sustained recovery, one day at a time 🩵🩵🙏🏼🙏🏼

+10 starts. Where do I even begin. Siam Rehab is on another level. I have been to multiple rehabs in Australia and all I can say is don’t waste you money, give yourself the best possible opportunity at a better life, I found that opportunity at Siam. The facilities are amazing, beautiful open spaces with a gym that blew my mind. Facilities are clean, the food is delicious and in abundance. The counsellors REALLY DO CARE, they aren’t burnt out like other places and they want the best for you and for your future and do more than what is expected of them. Mint and Wade go above and beyond what is required of them, spending countless hours to make mine and others experience as good as possible genuinely caring for everyone who walks into Siam and providing us with the freedom to discover what works for us in our recovery. The Thai staff make you feel welcome and at home and work tirelessly to keep things in order. This place inspires a better life and they have provided me with that. I’m forever grateful. Much love to everyone involved in this special place thank you for everything.

As a clinical therapist, I am the worst patient and am extremely picky in individual, group, and holistic practices. I researched and called countless rehabilitation centers in Thailand before deciding on Siam. What sold me was that they are interdisciplinary and do not solely follow AA or NA, and also integrate SMART recovery, the dharma model, and other methods. The fact that I could keep my phone, computer, and got my own room also contributed to my decision. Individual counseling is done twice per week, but counselors and staff make themselves available more often as needed and is possible based on population, which impressed me. I have been to two other centers in American previously where counseling was only once per week, and for me that abysmal and inadequate to my needs. There are also several group therapies per day, which also include meditation, art therapy, and CBT, which I also never experienced in America.

Besides the extraordinary grounds, the absolute best aspect of Siam is the staff. Siam is owned and run by a married couple who have vast experience in the field and sincerely care about each and every client, which is nonpareil. They truly make you feel valued and like family, which as an addict in the most vulnerable time in my life and thousands of miles away from home, made me feel immensely safe and loved. This sense of camaraderie and unity was unparalleled to any other rehabilitation center I have been to or worked at, and I have worked in numerous rehabilitation centers in my career.

Despite COVID, there are still weekly outings, which was also a big selling point for me. At my last rehabilitation center I went to in California in July 2021, we were all stuck in one house together and not allowed to leave. This catalyzed my anxiety and not being able to have a change of scenery was maddening. On the outings at Siam, we visited marvelous temples, markets, and even a resort! Siam integrates the perfect blend of quality therapy, holistic personal care, and exploration of the beauty of Thailand. Siam is an impeccable center with the most sincere and supportive staff for which I could not be more grateful. I feel stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually, and credit Siam for giving me my life back!

I’ve never experienced so much support and lessons about my behavior ever. Been here 6 weeks and really got to know myself better. The sessions are very effective in all aspects. The counselors are the best you can possibly wish for! The rooms are top notch and kept very clean by the staff. The food is top quality. And the overall program including the excursions you do once a week are just amazing. I will never forget Siam Rehab. I want to thank the team for being the start of my turn around in my lifestyle. Siam rehab is the best of the best with professionals that know how to help you and what works for you. I understand why it is ranked high. Because here you just want to put in the hard work and stay clean. You have to experience it to understand.

Best dicission i ever made. The counselors really know there stuff.
Ive witnessed people that came in to siam that where totally broken but in at the end of there program where really flourishing. This rehab really changed me also. I gained back my self confidence and my selfworth which was for me mostly the root of my addictive behaviour. I recommend this to anyone who has problems with addiction

I stayed in Siam for 28 days, and although that's a short time to be in rehab for, I truly believe it did the trick & Siam saved my life. It's been a month since I left and for the first time in my life I can genually say I do not feel depressed. I did not think that was possible for me.
I wanted to give shout outs to the staff there that were the most helpful, but then I found myself just writing out the names of every single staff member. You can truly tell that the people working there actually care & really want to help us & for this to be a good and helpful experience. Not only was it very effective therapy, I actually enjoyed spending time there.
The community based approach was very helpful, I was very lucky with the patients that were there with me, made some really cool friendships.
So thanks for everything :)
also I accidentally domesticated a wild kitten there against Wade's wishes, and they just kinda let me keep her & even got her vaccinated and later adopted. was very cool of them, appreciate that lol. I miss Penny though :(

My experience at Siam was life changing. Being in a community-based approach to recovery was inspiring. At Siam, there was always somebody to talk to who related to me and could teach me something about myself. I did not just do a stay at Siam rehab, I went there to have a spiritual experience. Thank you all for the support and love along the way.

I’ve had a good experience here. The staff are nice and you can really learn a lot from the wealth of knowledge they have here. Being here really helped me to find that pause button on my life and fix things in my life from the ground up. Today I am healthier than ever thanks to this place.

I stayed at Siam and it has been an excellent experience for me. The great staff is in my opinion what has make the most positive impact. People are caring and considerate and they will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

As for the place itself, the natural setting in Northern Thailand makes it a good therapeutic experience. The rooms and other amenities are clean and well maintained by the staff. The food is delicious and the service attentive. Overall, I definitely recommend Siam.

I have just completed my 6 week stay at Siam rehab. It was without a doubt the most amazing life changing experience of my life. The staff, facilities, accommodation, food and excursions are 10 out of 10. I felt very comfortable and safe from the moment I got there. The clients and staff are all so kind and welcoming.
I will be forever grateful to everyone at Siam for changing my life around and setting me on a positive track for my future!😊

I was referred to Siam by my Doctor and booked in or 3 months, this wasn't off my own back and was reluctant to change my ways but I am very grateful that I went and finished my 3 months. I am coming up to 1 year clean and sober and my life has improved immensely.

The staff are lovely, the food was great, the rooms were nice and the grounds were even nicer. I urge anyone who is thinking about changing their life and beating addiction to give Siam a call and give it a chance. You will thank yourself later on I can promise you that!

I was very sick when I arrived after over twenty years of progressive addiction , Siam rehab has probably saved my life. If you are serious about wanting to recover you never find a better place to do it. All the Thai staff are amazing, the councilors are all recovering addicts with years of recovery experience. I found it very hard to start with but ended up having the most wonderful experience. It has been a journey and I thank God that I was so lucky to be here. I am going to miss every peer I met here I've made the best friends I could ever want, I'm truly sad I have to go. Thankyou Siam Recovery.

My journey at Siam rehab was not an easy one, but it is one I will forever be grateful for. Siam is a healing place. The staff and counselors are from halfway round the world and are incredibly passionate at helping addicts. The facilities here are amazing. I spent alot of time at the huge gym and the swimming pool with an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains. Siam rehab is not a holiday. It is a place for people who want to renew their lifes and make a positive change. There is something very special and sacred about this place.

words can't really describe how amazing, life changing and saving Siam rehab is.
I arrived at Siam broken from 20 years of addiction, suicide attemtps, abuse and torture of all kinds, I lost my family, my fiance and daughter left me, I lost multiple jobs, all my friends, I was spiritually, emotionally and financially bankrupt. I was lost, I didn't know who I was and I had no hope for myself or ever getting better. With £50 in my pocket, a bag of clothes, a body full of fear and anger. A miracle happened, i was so sick and tired of being so sick and tired and i found the courage to get on a plane from the UK to Thailand thinking I wouldn't last a week. That miracle was desperation, i couldn't kill myself and I didn't want to go back to prison, I had no other way to turn apart from forward to that plane and Siam rehab.
I was welcomed with open arms by like minded peers who were as broke or more broken than I was, a world class leader in Theo and his team of world class counsellors, support staff, medical staff, gardeners who kept the grounds very well manicured, cleaners who kept rooms immaculate daily and kitchen staff who cooked delicious meals 3 times a day. To a beautiful, luxury facility set in the mountains of Chiang Rai, surrounded by jungle, nature and a sense of freedom.
I had only signed up for a month. I was sure not to last the first week as I have been the world champion at messing up my life and every opportunity I have ever had. How ever after being encouraged that If i follow a simple programme and am honest, open minded and willing, I will have a good chance at recovery.
After scratching the surface and realizing the extent of the disease of addiction to me and saw positive changes in 2 weeks I signed up for month 2. Siam being my second treatment, first being the priory in London I was sceptical for my 2nd treatment as uk treatment centres are no good in my eyes they are rigid, money making enterprises with no care, love or affection. Siam is very unique, it is a community based recovery programme with love, genuine care, compassion, empathy from all staff in ubandance. Siam makes you feel comfortable, safe, positive and feels you with hope of a better life.
An extremely well structured daily programme that is allways being enhanced to have maximum benefits to the clients. Every one is equal and every ones voice is heard and actioned. This is huge and unheard of really, clients are treated as human, people with valid opinions and needs. Not once did i feel like a number or a money making unit. Money is the last of concerns at Siam. The primary focus is the client, saving there's and there family's life and giving us all a better future.
Having learnt so much through feelings group, thought process groups, behaviour patterns through CBT, being relieved of pains of past traumas through a world class physiologist providing me with EMDR and exposure therapy. I signed up for a 3rd month to really put in to practice all the tools I needed to live my life in a safe environment while being eased back into society.
Through out my 3 month stay I also visited many Thai landmarks, saw many temples, waterfalls, local restaurants and local towns.
Not to mention well over 20 hospital visits Siam medical staff took me too and assisted me with Thai translation having multiple problems as a result of active addiction. I was diagnosed with a benine tuma in my spine, severe nerve damage, sclerosis, absys.. I was scared for my life and every one at Siam catered for my medical needs and associated emotions and kept me safe and looked after.

I can not recommend Siam rehab enough. If you have a problem, if you wake up every morning not wanting to use and find your self using that day you need to get in touch and you will be looked after, I promise you. I can't share my success enough, if you want a personal chat please get in touch anytime.

Siam not only saved my life, it showed me a new life. If your serious. Be honest, open minded, willing and you will succeed.

I have my family back.

Only love for Siam. Thank you

I came to Siam as a broken women. I was ready to die and used Siam as my last chance at life. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. What ever little strength i had left in me got me on that plane and brought me to Siam. It was the hardest thing i have ever had to do but the Best decision i have ever made. The team at Siam are highly trained. They were able to help me get educated around my addictions and deep issues within. They helped me not only to stay clean but also learn to except my past, communicate in a healthy way with friends and family, work on my anger issues, rid my life of drama and qaous, create healthy boundaries, love myself, have compassion for others, get healthy mentally and physically, and most of all fight the disease that had made my life unmanageable and unbearable. I would say they truly are the best rehab center for drugs and alcohol in Thailand. The owner Theo, Wade and the counselor's go above and beyond and perform their jobs at a level of excellence. I am forever deeply grateful to Siam because without them i would probably be dead! I will never forget this journey and i highly recommend anyone that is suffering with a drug and alcohol addiction to give the lovely team at Siam a call. Don't wait you to deserve a better life and this is the place to start breaking down those barriers to getting one. Thank you Siam i will miss you all and i can't wait to come back and visit this time next year to celebrate my future achievements with you all. Much Love Nina Antranik xxx
