Katiliya Mountain Resort & Spa Chiang Rai

We stayed two nights at Katiliya and loved it. We got the honeymoon package with dinner, a bottle of wine and couples massage included. The restaurant had beautiful views and good food. Our restaurant server, Cat, was very nice and helpful and gave us great recommendations! We’ll be back!

Spacious room size with full amenities ..
Lots of plants, trees, trekking Pathway and animals - peacock, 🦚, deers , birds around the park place.

Good burger and noodle for lunch.

Beautify property with spacious, althought under utilized room. A bit dated but clean. Would stay again.

We had an incident in the room. The first aid kit should be stocked a bit better though, I had to dig into my own EDC kit for gauze is a bit unacceptable. The hotel handled the aftermath perfectly, and I hope the management would improve the room accordingly

We started our trip in Northern Thailand from Katiliya and it was a heaven on earth, it was quiet, serene and very beautiful.The surroundings were so peaceful, Katiliya park was amazing to walk. We did a trip to phu chi fah where they gave us breakfast box at 3am in the morning. The stuff were great with a smile always and ready to accomodate your request. We liked the heated pool where our 2 year old was able to walk in the pool without getting scared.
We had our parents and a 2 year old with us. They arranged siteseeing for which the Price was lower than other Northern Thailand agency we checked with.
Overall beautiful place and the name stands true, it's a Heaven on Earth.

We cannot recommend this place enough for couples and families

There’s a forest/park inside the resort - you ask the front desk for a small cart driver to take you there.
We had a walk inside the forest (fully protected against bugs on our end)
Saw some animals and had a nice afternoon.

It’s quite distant from the city - so have the front desk order you a Texi which will cost around 1,000 baht:
But that’s not the place’s fault - just a heads up.

In conclusion - an amazing experience

We had a wonderful stay there! Big and comfy rooms, astonishing view, nice area and lovely and helpful staff. Especially the owner were so down to earth and helpfull to us. Our son had a tiny accident (he felt, while playing and hurt his eye) and the owners didn't hesitate and drow us to the next hospital. Very very kind and lovely people. We will surely return :-)

This resort is 5 star. I wish we stayed longer. I felt like we were on our honeymoon. My boys experienced the best and were spoiled.

One of the best mountain resort in Chiang Rai, it is located in the middle between Mae Sai and Muang Chiang Rai in which you can drive with less than an hour bothway. Amenities and facilities are great such as pool table, swimming pool and other sports venue. It is most recommended for ones that want tranquility.

Book it now 😍 This place is an absolute gem tucked away in the Thai jungle! The staff was friendly and greeted us with a fruit tea as we got here and remained prompt in assisting any need we had during our stay. The property is beautiful! It's calm, relaxing, and so quiet! With the exception to chirping crickets and some natural jungle sounds!
My family and I came here for a quiet get away in nature and this place exceeded out expectations and beyond. And the balcony views did not disappoint!
Another perk our family loved, there is a big animal sanctuary on the property that is included in the booking. Once you get there, you can pick up a bike (yes, small bikes for 6-10year size were available!) And cruise through out the jungle park! It is clear they put so much work into making the park a truly beautiful place for their guests and for the animals they care for there.

Had a very pleasant stay at this resort. Good service and polite staff. The room is spacious and it is situated in the middle of nature. Very quiet and peaceful :)

Great hotel but be aware it's a bit of a drive to get anywhere into town so bring everything you might need with you.

There is nothing we do not love about this hotel. The ground is lovely, the facilities are top notch, the rooms are super nice with modern amenities and stunning view of the mountains. The most impressive of all is its food and catering. We were super impressed with Khun Wa, who is very attentive, polite, friendly and professional. We felt like we were dining at the Ritz! His service is impeccable and also super pleasant. Though there are many dining choices around the hotel but we did not waste our time searching as we found the best restaurant in town. Thank you Khun Wa and his team.

Needless to say that every staff at the resort is so well trained and very nice. We will certainly come back to Katiliya again next time we are in Chiangrai.

We had 2 great nights at the hotel in a mountain suit. The room was very spacious and clean. Large teras with a wonderful view over the mountains! The hotel is remotely located so you will have to enjoy the resorts facilities, which are plenty! Beautiful swimmingpool and hot springs. The restaurant serves all the local and international food. Nice service and very friendly staff! If you enjoy nature, this hotel is for you!

2nd visit and still the same Magnificent Resort

One of the bestest resort I have been in the world. such a beautiful, Green cover, secluded, awesome views that overall you are mesmerised and feel that you are in a regal resort.

Amazing size of the suite rooms. Beautiful balcony to relax and such mesmerising views that your camera will never stop clicking. The bathroom size and decor is great.

I personally love such resorts as they are made with such love and managed with care.

The privately owned adjoining park is amazing. A must go for a long walk.

The staff at reception is great. Helpful all the time. Special mention for Ms. Bew and Ms. Kwang

Few Genuine Improvement areas

1. The Resort is so huge that there are some areas which are not being cleaned. I guess lack of staff. such resort should always be at its best

2. Need better chef in restaurant. Food was average

3. Need more trained staff in restaurant as they were unable to handle the crowd.

4. Rooms are so nice. but small maintenence is now needed. like door handles of shower room, bathroom sink getting blocked, Toilet faucet not working fully as blocked. All this needs just few hours of maintenance and the rooms will be spik and span

Words can't express our appreciation for your fantastic care of us during our stay!

Beautiful resort, and so much space that you can always find a quite and tranquil place for yourself. The room is grand and very spacious.
Breakfast wasn’t over crowded and does not appear to be the sort of resort that attracts the usual riff-raff at the big hotel groups.
We visited Katiliya with two young girls and they love it, but also highly recommended if you just want to seat back and watch the clouds float by.
