Real Muay Thai! Kru Dam is an excellent trainer, very attentive and always concerned about teaching and motivating his students! I recommend!

I spent 6 days at Chalamkaw in June. I was an absolute beginner but opted to stay in the Bungalows (no a/c), opted into 2 classes a day at 8am and 5pm, as well as 2 meals per day. It was an AMAZING experience! The trainers are talented current and ex-professional fighters. They are knowledgeable, encouraging, playful and stern all at the same time! I had a very good learning experience here. This is a very "Thai Style" gym, in a real Thai training environment. All classes were about 2 hours long and comprised of a warm-up, dynamic stretching, shadow boxing, heavy bag work, bag work and then either sparring or technique. If you want the full experience I would highly recommend staying on site. The owner, Dam is expanding the site to have more accommodation options. He does a great job including everyone on site into his little Muay Thai Family. In addition, cats and chickens roam freely around camp which really adds to the charm.

On our last day in Krabi my husband and I decided to do group training with Kru Dam. It was an incredible experience for us! He is very thorough, professional in teaching us. We had a wonderful time learning new techniques and polishing what we already know. We wished to have more time to do more training with him. Highly recommended and and would like to come back soon when we come back to Krabi.

I went for a couple of Muay Thai classes under Dam while I was in Krabi and I absolutely loved it. Sessions with Dam were challenging yet so precise with technique and very versatile. I’d definitely go back to train under Dam - he has an incredible amount of experience and so easy to work with. Really recommend his classes! :)

Very good training 🏋‍♀ was there for three weeks in may, the Trainers are very polite, funny and experienced they create very nice and diversified training and we was welcome every time after the trainings.

Kru Dam, the owner of Chalamkaw Muay Thai, is a very experienced Muay Thai fighter with over 300 fights. His passion for the art will help to improve you, no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced.

What made the experience different for me, is that this gym offers more than just training. It truly feels like a family. Kru Dam sincerely cares for the gym and his customers and wants to see you happy.

If you're not already happy with his effective training and delicious cooked Thai meals, then he sure will put a big smile on your face by cracking some jokes! :D

Super Training dort gehabt. Macht super viel spaß, die Atmosphäre ist familiär und sehr professionell. Ich kann’s jedem Empfehlen dort zu trainieren. Technisch wird auf jede Stufe individuell eingegangen und man lernt sofort was. Ich bereue, es nicht vorher entdeckt zu haben.

L’endroit idéal pour apprendre et pratiquer le muay thai. Le coach est génial et s’adapte à ton niveau.
