Panak Island, famous for its emerald lagoons and deep caves accessible during low tide. Amazing experience if you take a canoe trip around the island and through low hanging caves.

Came with the John Gray tour. Absolutely must see place in Phuket. If you see one place this is it. Boats bring people here and then special canoes take you inside the grotto. At sunset it is one of the most beautiful sights in the world

We have visited the island as a part of the tour of Phang Nga national park. Safe and interesting caving experience. After 15 minutes (approximately) through a cave, we have reached a beautiful tropical forest at the middle of the island. The guides were helpful and friendly.

Panak Island is the highlight of my trip. Although you have to follow a tight schedule to make sure the tides don’t leave stuck in the lagoon, every second of that trip is memorable.

Note : we went on a rainy day but it didn’t change a thing (it was even better because we were alone). The rain actually made it look like a wild jungle with the magrove trees and the big lagoon. We were lucky enough to canoe through the first lagoon and to walk on the second because the tide was really low.

Make sure to book with a tour agency and to leave early in the morning to avoid big crowds.

It’s very nice this island, usually take a mini canoe tour and then you can take a look, by a thin wooden stairs, at a nice cave to take pictures.

I was booked Island trips with amazing canoeing (Tour Agent). This is the #1 Island they took me. We went canoeing at Panak Island. Don't take your mobiles there. Its full dark out there. Better take a DSLR and Other Digital Camera with good flash light. So you can take some good pictures here. Also be careful with your twist, turn, and bend your way across mangrove forests and limestone structures.
