Cute local weekend market by the creek. Good atmosphere. Local food and souvenirs for cheap price. Free parking space. Worth a visit when you travel in Suan Pueng area.

At the side of a forest road there is the entrance to this market and the parking is at the sides of the road. The market have a lot of stalls made from bamboo that sale local products most of then food and deserts, some of them souvenirs. A lot of food to taste, all look appetizing and tasty and many places to seat and eat at the forest and at the river bank. Atmosphere is relax and fun.

🩷🩷🩷I’m absolutely fall in love with Oh Poi Market. What I adore is their commitment to being plastic-free, no bags or plastic plates in sight. The food variety is vast, with some rare or indigenous dishes available. The ambiance is cozy with ample seating available for diners. If you’re visiting Ratchaburi, this market is a must-visit!

This market is an ideal place for a morning stroll or meal. The food in the market is reasonably priced, ranging from 20 to 50 baht. Additionally, there is a religious activity for Buddhists to participate in called "sai baht" (making merit). The activity usually starts around 7:30 a.m. If you drive to the market, locals will guide you to the parking area. After parking, both shuttle services and motorcycle taxis are available for your convenience, and they are free of charge.

A traditional market, run by one of the ancient tribes of Thailand. Not many foreign tourists but certainly a favourite among the Thai people. It's always lovely to learn about their traditions and culture.

In the Corona situation, such a this market seems to be a very precious place.
This place looks a bit different from other markets in the city.

There is a wide valley that refreshes the mind, and it is very impressive that the market follow the traditional method of the ethnic minority.

As we visited late on a Sunday afternoon and the stores were almost closed, we couldn't buy foods or souvenirs.

However this place itself like nature, atmosphere etc., was already very good enough.
So, next time If we go camping to Suan Pheung, I will definitely visit again.

We came to the market around 7:30 am just in time to make merit, which is quite unique as the monk travel here by floating bamboo. The merit making is finished by 8:00 am and we continued to enjoy ourselves with local food and product.

Wonderful place for a visit. In the morning you can pay respect to the monks and after that there are lots of places to taste local food and drinks. Don't miss out the hard to get ice cream. Food is quite cheap and there are enough places to seat at. Parking space can be a little difficult during peak hours.

Nice, unique and truly Thai market experience. Grab something to eat, a refreshing drink or some drip coffee and sit along the river and take in the scenery. You can even take a bamboo raft ride. So much to buy as memories to decorate your home. It's always much more meaningful to support these small local markets and the people.

The food was unique and taste really good with effordable price. I could spend whole day here just to enjoy every single things from monk feeding in the morning to main course for lunch and afternoon tea besides the canal.

Very nice market. We went on a long weekend and we were stuck in traffic before we could park for a while at 9am. We could not try all the dishes we wanted because the ques were so long, but nonetheless it was a great experience. The setting is beautiful, and prices are regular local market prices.

Didn’t expect much from this place but I was completely stunned how things were organized here.

No entrance fee, no parking fee. Food and drink were cheap and it seemed like they wanted to reduce plastic waste and be as eco-friendly as possible which I truly admired.

Almost all of the shops willingly wanted to take the garbage or food waste just to keep the whole market cleaned … you just can’t find this easily anywhere else!

Local market in western of Thailand, tourists can make merit to monks in the morning and have a local breakfast with cheap price. Good management for garage and people on a pier.

It’s a great place to visit. Nice atmosphere, variety of local food and nice services from local people. One of the best green markets in Thailand.
