It is an UNSEEN THAILAND travel destination. It is a small waterfall but very extraordinary and I was surprised and excited to appreciate the view of it. There is a river which flows through a flat rocky surface and before falling down from the top of the cave, there is a hole where the water passes through it presenting a marvelous view.
In Thai, Sang=light, and Chan=Moon. It is known as Moonlight waterfall because they say that during midnight of the full moon day, the moonlight will pass through this hole causing magnificent glittering effect.
The road take us to a point where we have to walk less than a minute to get the view but the road was not very good with countless potholes. I would recommend you all to visit during the raining season to enjoy its beauty when there is enough water falling down.

A beautiful waterfall within an easy access from the parking lot. The water is very clear allowing for a refreshing swim. This is one of the gems of Ubon Ratchathani province.

Beautiful waterfall and unusual because the water streams thru a round hole in the sandstone rock. Take a few minutes and sit on a seat to absorb the atmosphere. Looks like swimming is possible when it's hot but I hear the falls stop in the dry season. Free to enter Sadly the access road is a potholed mess.
