Bueng Boraphet Aquarium

I recently visited the Bueng Boraphet Aquarium, and it was an enlightening experience. Celebrating its 80th anniversary, the aquarium is housed in a boat-shaped building, showcasing over 100 species of freshwater fish. The 105-meter-long tank beautifully displays diverse species like catfish, snakehead fish, and rare varieties. The touch pool offers an up-close interaction with sharks and sea turtles, providing a unique opportunity for visitors. The facility also offers amenities like a restaurant and souvenir shop. Open daily, the Bueng Boraphet Aquarium is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and those curious about Thailand's aquatic wonders.

Interesting, modern, informative and large aquarium, mainly focusing on local lake fauna. Pleasant surprise - all descriptions are bilingual. Second floor also houses bird garden that is currently closed.

There is not much to do in that region but the Bueng Boraphet Aquarium is definitely a visit worth. Currently there is no entry fee and single travelers or families are very welcome.

All info signs are written in Thai and English. Moreover there is a big lake for bird enthusiasm. You can explore the area by riding a golf car for 250 THB per hour.

I personally loved the place because I am interested in the under water world since I was young.

This is obviously a great place for kids but it's also a decent place for adults too. There are many things to do here such as hired boat to tour the lake, sightseeing in the aquarium or crocodile show. The entrance fee is minimal 49thb for adults and 19thb for kids, elderly and kids under 100cms are free of charge :)

Beautiful aquarium with exotic fresh-water fish.

Nice water tunnel where you can watch sting-rays and other big fresh water fish from the surrounding area. Cheap ticket to get in. 185 baht for two adults and 4 children. Nice area outside for the kids to play in. Many restaurants nearby as well.

Worth to visit the Aquarium. Entry fee as low as a noodle soup in a street kitchen.

Great aquarium, plenty of fish to see, and no entrance fee. But it's also well kept, fish look well taken care of. All the information are both in Thai and English so you can read up on the different species they have. It's definitely a must-see when in Nakhon Sawan!

Just stumbled upon this nice little aquarium and really enjoyed it. We went just before 3pm and saw the scuba diver feeding the giant fish. On the day we went the admission was free but it looked like it says only 40 or 50 baht admission.
