Probably like most people, I rarely leave average reviews. It takes something terrible or fantastically good to motivate me to review something. Isan real estate fall into the latter category, absolute above and beyond superb service providers.

In December I found a condo online that I knew would meet my needs as I had rented in the same block previously, and after a few weeks back and forth agreed a price with the seller.

However that was the easy part; I was in London, had no Thai bank account and little knowledge of the ownership transfer process in Thailand.

I engaged Isan Real Estate to be my buying agents, and I am so glad I did. They inspected and appraised the property while I was still abroad, confirming that I had negotiated a good price. They dealt with the seller's agent, and seller, provided the contract in English and Thai and facilitated the financial transaction securely through their Trust account. More than this once I got to Thailand they navigated a smooth path through the labyrinthine workings of the Land Registry office to deliver a clean Chanote in my name, and took me to the Amphur to add in yellow and blue books. They also helped me open a bank account, change over the the electricity account and deal with the Condominium Management Company. I can't overstate how much paperwork they took charge of processing on my behalf.

I am by no means inexperienced as a property buyer and seller, but Ernie and Duang not only guided me through this process in Thailand but took on all the problems as if they were their own. Instead of being confused, unsure and frustrated as I would have been on my own Ernie and Duang left me reassured and relaxed, saving me money and time in the process. A massive thank you. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Whether you are buying or selling a home in Isaan, their work is professional. When buying or selling a house, it would be reassuring to have someone explain the legal procedures, document preparation, warranties, etc. not only in Thai but also in English! This company has staff who can speak English, so even if you don't understand Thai, they can provide detailed explanations.
We have already completed five successful sales with them. For us, they are a reliable partner.

In UK my usual experience with estate agents is that they ignore everything you tell them and just send details of any properties they happen to have on their books, regardless of suitability. Later on you are at the mercy of solicitors who can charge a fortune for doing very little, very slowly. Now add in the prospect of trying to buy a property in Udon Thani where customs, procedures and language are all different and I was braced for a stressful few months.

Our property search was progressing poorly until I contacted Isan Real Estate via their website. They responded quickly and discussed our requirements in detail with my wife (in Thai) and myself (in English), before selecting suitable properties for us to consider and then patiently driving us around to view the ones we liked the look of.

In under a week we had decided on a property that suited us perfectly. My wife checked all the land and house documentation thoroughly with Duean while Ernie explained the purchase procedure to me in English. A price was agreed with the owner, contract signed and a date set for completing the purchase. When we met up at the Land Registry Office on the agreed date, Duean had prepared everything meticulously in advance and was the star of the show, taking charge of the whole process. Before lunchtime the land and property had been transferred and we even had the new Tabien Baan (Blue Book) from the Amphur Office.

Despite my initial misgivings, thanks to Isan Real Estate our property search and purchase turned out to be both stress free and an absolute pleasure. Many thanks to Ernie and Duean who were at all times efficient and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in a similar position to us, seeking to buy a property around Udon Thani.
