Baan Chang Thai Elephant Tracking

Very good company, professional, elephant are treated well. Took the 2 hour tour today, you do some trekking through the jungle for an hour. The elephant frequently stops for shade and to eat, which is nice since you need to cool off too. Then you take a dip in the water, you swim with her, she lifts you up out of the water with her trunk (very cool). You can tell the elephant loves the water and is having fun. Then they give you some fresh fruit to feed her, they also give you some very tasty watermelon and pineapple, nice touch. They have pictures of the water part, they pick you up and drop you off. All for a very low rate of 900baht. Highly recommended.

We had a great time rising the elephant and exploring the jungle. The butterflies were the size of birds, and the elephant was so sweet. They were happy to take loads of photos and videos while we washing her. A beautiful trek and great service.

You can and even should feed this elder elephants. They are nice and come on, elephants are always cool

象乗りができます。1時間コース:500B/人、2時間コース:700B/人。1時間コースを選択しました。森の中を探索して池に入るルートで、ユックリ1時間揺られます。
残念なのは、象に乗ってる写真が撮れなかったこと。象使いの人に言えば撮ってもらえたかも知れません。
2時間コースは、池で象と遊ぶような感じなので水着着用必須です。
最後にバナナを買ってあげつつ、記念撮影しました。大人しいいい象でした。

A horrible experience, practically if it wasn't for the young elephant, wich was a baby last year at the same January 6'th I wouldn't visit the location, but because I wanted so much to see the condition that he was kept in I took my kids to see with their own eyes that humans are beasts.
So, the baby elephant now a young was in chains, the leg had bruises because of the chains, he was starving and we keep giving him fruits,we bought for some hundred of baht and keep giving him , and at the end we gave him water wich he refused, I was in shocked because elefants don't do that, but I could remark as a vet that he was suffering practically crying as a small kid, we stayed at last one hour and when we wanted to go he tried to get off the chains from the leg, but it was impossible, that is when the tragedy continued,so I forced my kids wich are 11 and 9 to go and don't look back otherwise I would have probably beaten the elephant's owner.
No, I cannot and would not understand why somebody would keep doing this stuff.
The situation must be solved once and for all and I hope that for this young elefant in a good way.

Animals are chained. They look extremely bored and sad.

To put it simply they are not free.
They are not here for your enjoyment.

Please stop visiting places that abuse animals.

Horrible place.They do abuse elephants. I had no idea that you can find something so awful on beautiful island od Koh Chang.

To be clear, I was just passing by, visiting waterfall, but the suffering of elephants was very obviously visible from the road. Poor animal are chained only few meters away from the road.

Do not go there, do not spend your money supporting this dirty business! If you dont understand what is wrong with elephant rides, please, google this topic.
