Siam Beach Resort

A great place to go with small kids. The pool, beach, bar, and restaurant are all very close together.
Staff were all very nice and helpful.
Breakfast buffet was simple but decent (Thai & western options) only had lunch at the restaurant once and it was not bad either.
There are other restaurants, bars, nightclubs and boat rental places along the beach, but it was never so loud at night that we could hear it in our room. The Himmel Beach Bar is right in front of the southernmost rooms blaring loud music, but I think it closes around 6 pm or so.
The cleaning staff did a really great job in the rooms and they came by every day to see if you wanted your room made up.
As with almost every place we've stayed in Thailand so far, the grounds could use a bit of maintenance, but the rooms are nice and modern and you spend most of your time in the pool or on the beach anyway.

Really enjoyed this resort. The location smack on the beach. Plenty of stuff to do nearby or in the sea such as paddle boarding or canoeing. But for me the big positive differentiator is they are open for you to bring your pets any pets. I brought my 3 dogs and we were not the only ones with pets. Sure be a bit careful with the monkeys but there are plenty of spots to walk the dogs. The service of the staff was also very good. And yes the sunset with a cold one on the beach with your loved one sitting on the big beach swing devine.

Second time staying here. No regrets. A great location on Lonely Beach and 10 to 15 min walk into the village either along the beach part of the way or along the road.
I stay in the cheapest rooms but still spacious, clean and comfortable. Good WiFi everywhere on the resort.

Great place with the best access to the lonely beach. Best to book premium ground floor rooms.

Loved Siam Beach Resort. We kept extending our stay, it was very hard to leave this tropical paradise.

This is my family’s favorite beach resort.

It’s great location on the beach makes for great walks on the beach in the morning before breakfast.

The breakfast buffet is very good. For the room price, it’s my favorite on the island. 7-10am.

The hotel restaurant is decently above average with a long menu. Just remember, in Thailand if you order a hamburger anywhere but a hamburger restaurant, you have only yourself to blame. Stick to Thai food.

Monkeys are a common issue for all resorts on the island. It’s part of the nature. I didn’t have any trouble, but I was aware of the possibility.

I stay at Siam Beach Resort almost every time I come to Koh Chang. Looking forward to my next restful visit.

Ps. The old rooms are a lot cheaper then the new rooms. Not the prettiest, but you can book one of the newer/premium rooms if you want.

Nice resort on a great beach. There is a pool, massage tables as well as a bar/restaurant located on the beach. The maintenance on the grounds and the rooms is a little lacking but overall a nice place to stay. The price can vary from good to a little high compared to nearby locations.

Rooms and hotel needs some maintenance as it is quite old, however the beach is perfect and the rooms are quite spacious.

I had great morning swims and amazing sunsets while paddling or kayaking (there is a rental shop just a minute away to the south)

The price is also very reasonable given the proximity of the rooms to the beach.

Really great resort on Koh Chang. We stayed here during covid with our dog and it was amazing. The hotel dog (big white dog) bit our dog but we forgive him and still give 5 stars.

I’ve been coming here for years because the staff is always welcoming and they have one of the best beach locations on Lonely Beach. The breakfast is above average as they have enough to my satisfaction for the cost. Value is well worth the money.

Love the atmosphere. It is located in a quiet location and perfect for family. The room are dated and the staff are trying the the best they can, in their own way. Friendly staff for sure . We will go back there again.

It's been quite place and beach.
Recommended that hotel who loves chilling with no party and crowd of people.

Stayed in C block in a deluxe bedroom. Right on the best bit of Lonely Beach beach. The only place to stay in lonely beach if a beach is important as Siam beach resort has all the beach accommodation. Big rooms, aircon works. cleaned well though the room interiors have seen better days, the bed is hard but the toilet and shower work and don't smell. There is a fridge. Good breakfast of fruit, toast cereal and eggs if you are veggie. Meat eaters do well with meat stuff and yesterday's leftovers too, not great coffee or fruit juice ( squash) and you need breakfast or you'll have to walk 20 minutes to get to the busy shops and restaurants in the town that are down the beach and off on the road. Go to the town there are great bars and restaurants. The bar and restaurant are good at the hotel if a bit pricey. The massages great. The setting idyllic. Paradise is here.

I love this hotel, and I stay here EVERY TIME that I visit Thailand, since I visit Koh Chang every time that I visit Thailand.

The hillside bungalows are recently built and were still under construction when I was there last year. They are for the budget traveler who does not expect or want luxury amenities.

I prefer the units directly behind the swimming pool. Nice big bed, TV, shower, fridge in the room, the view of the beach and the ocean just outside the window. I absolutely love these rooms, especially for the price.

Now, if you are one of those spoiled rich folks who want to be bathed in luxury, then walk down the beach about two hundred yards and check into the OVERPRICED luxury hotel, whose name I cannot even remember.

Siam Beach Resort is perfect for me.

Great family resort in Koh Chang. It is right on the lonely beach and the sea is great here making it a perfect beach. The food is also good and reasonably priced. The rooms are good and clean. Had a good stay and highly recommend it to others too.

Really nice beach resort, one of our favorite on the island. Not too crowded, and directly on the beach.

Just be wear of the monkeys.
