Salak Khok Fishing Village

Wonderful seafood! Kind, laid-back village.

The stay was great, the hosts were friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to fish, although it was a bit expensive at 300bath/h/p, but it was worth it. The food, the stir fried fish and shrimp were super delicious! I would come back in a heartbeat!

An Experience!!Views don’t get much nicer than those over Salakkok bay in the southeast of Koh Chang. If you are bored with beaches try a try a sunset over an eerily quiet mangrove lined, mountain backed bay instead. Even in high season you’d be very lucky to see more than a handful of other tourists in and around Salakkok hamlet. There’s one man made attraction; no fancy seafood restaurants; only a couple of run down places to stay and the only activity on offer is mangrove kayaking.

Really good place to stop for lunch. A great little restaurant called Ban Du that's open during low season. Excellent food and super friendly people.

Great little fishing village

เป็นอีกหนึ่งไฮไลท์ที่ต้องมากเที่ยวของคำกล่าวที่ว่า "เกาะข้างเลี้ยวซ้าย" เพราะยังคงเป๋นมธรรมชาติของชาวบ้านประมงและทำสวนกรีดยางกัน บริเวณหมู่บ้านมีกิจกรรมมากมาย อาทิ พายเรือคายัค ปั่นจักรยาน ล่องเรือ ทานอาหาร เป็นต้น และบรรยากาศภูเขา ป่าชายเลน น้ำสีเขียว ลมพัดเย็นๆ คือดีมากๆ

แม้นเป็นช่วงน้ำลง แต่ยังคงไว้ซึ่งภาพธรรมชาติของป่าชายเลน หาดโคลน เห็นวิถีชีวิตของชาวประมงใช้เครื่องมือคราดเก็บหอยอยู่ไกลๆ ริมหาดโคลน แนวป่าชายเลนสีเขียวตัดกับสีท้องฟ้าสดใสและเมฆสวยในหน้าร้อนทำให้ผ่อนคลายเย็นสบายเพราะมีลมโกรกตลอดเวลา

mega schöner Ort der nur von wenigen Touris besucht wird. Es gibt 2-3 Restaurants die vor allem Fischgerichte anbieten. Ein sehr ruhiger und friedlicher kleiner Ort. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
