Very fond of this place, Lampang River Lodge Hotel. Surrounded by trees and overlooking the River Wang, this quaint hotel occupies a cluster of Lanna-style wooden cottages. Lampang River Lodge was awarded the title of a Unseen Paradise by the Tourism Authority of Thailand for its stunning and tranquil natural ambiance and traditional Lanna style.

Beautiful hotel grounds - truly unique with huge trees, ponds, fountains and lovely pool. Rooms were clean with comfort beds and warm, strong showers. I truly do not understand the negative reviews of this place. We will definitely stay here again.

OK, it's out of town. But it is its own location. The views are great, the grounds well thought out. No kettle in room so serious issue there but great coffee shop. Food is spot on, staff are great. Yes there are geckos in the rooms ....they are eating the mozzies. The supplied nets work fine. I had a very relaxing stay for 3 days and would make this a go to place if you are in the area.good jump point for the sky temple.

Lampang River Lodge are set in beautiful grounds which are well maintained. The pool was lovely but not much good for swimming in but had a lovely view over the lake. The rooms were cozy but adequate and a mosquito net was supplied, fortunately, as it’s not easy keeping them out of the room, you are based in the jungle next to a river. The reviewer also mentioned that the staff are mostly friendly and helpful. However, the services are limited.

Very nice resort with great rooms, a pool, restaurant and bar. The breakfast place is overlooking the river. The quality of the food is good as long as you eat a la carte.

Old but very authentic! Must visit place! Someone have invested huge in 90s here . Looks like you are sleeping in the jungle.

The team at reception were fantastic. We had some confusion on what room we booked, but, within a few minutes everything was sorted. Amazing plants and flowers everywhere. Nice location on the river. I recommend for a relaxing stay.

What a wonderful authentic Thai experience. Like much of the Thai resort world poor maintence shows through, but underneath is a rich tapestry of Thai architecture, design and landscaping. Don’t hesitate, just do this location for a great experience you will love.

Beautiful old school hotel. Well worth the price, clean and reasonable service. Highly recommend

This sense of culture and peace is enriched by the Lanna interior, large natural green garden, wooden furnishing throughout and the great views of the enormous natural pond surrounded by lush green garden.

It is such a fantastic, relaxing place. Nice and calm. We were very enjoyable staying here and will definitely come back when we visit Lampang.
