Ataman Luxury Villas

We had a fantastic stay at Ataman Luxury Villas.
Not enough has been done to market the island because it's perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds - located on 17kms of sandy beach. No airport/No bridge. It is remote yet only a couple of hours from Phuket airport. Just you, the 1,100 residents and buffalo!
The staff at Ataman are excellent. Genuine people :-)
We would definitely return.

Location, Location, Location! Attaman Luxury Villas will provide you with an extremely spacious and completely private luxury refuge at a beach (respectively, whole Island) that has not been hit by masses of tourists yet.
We booked one of the honeymoon villas beginning to mid November 2023. The resort consists of 6 Villas (with 5 of them for rent) managed by a Caucasian family with Thai employees. We had our most relaxing holiday, yet, and definitely got more than we came for. Alexander, lovely Groundmanager Key and all staff went out of their way to tend to our wishes. Natalia and Alexander also organised trips to the main land for us.
The decorations of the villas are luxury  (e.g., Crystal chandeliers), with the Villas being as mentioned above extremely spacious - we had to literally call each other's names when looking for each other in our place. Besides the multiple and extremely generously spacious joint areas (dining room, kitchen, living room, hall, pavilion, porches, terrasses, extra toilets, utilityrooms..), our Villa had next to the master bedroom 2 extra Ensuite bedrooms that were locked. So, even though there were bigger (e.g., Two-story) Villas available, our place would have offered more than ample space for a family of 6 or e.g. 3 couples. Every Villa also sports a massive 6x12m private pool with a sizeable shared pool on the grounds. The most amazing attribute is the complete privacy in the Villa and at the private pool - only at 9:30 am Dimitri will walk over the ground to feed the fish in the Zen Ponds. Sometimes, there might be a gardener, depending on what works are necessary on the grounds. One can always ask for any upkeeping to be done when one is out, though. We e.g. were having breakfast at the main building at a different time every day, and staff would fit their schedules around it.
Since it was beginning of season, there were some small hiccups in the Villa, but, no matter what time of day or night there was an immediate reaction by Alexander and/or staff trying to fix it.
Location: The resort is set in a tropical garden with views of the sea. A picture postcard path between some trees leads to the wide and especially long sandy beach. To the north there is e.g. only 1 resort, after that there are almost 9km of sandy beach before there is the next resort. It was the beginning of the season, and we met only 2 fishermen on a walk there. So heaven, if you are keen to unwind and recharge. To the South, there is a Naturalist Resort and another Resort (both have restaurants that can be used on a walk-in basis). After that, it will take a 25min walk on the beach before the next place and from there even longer to the next...
Wildlife: at sunset and sunrise (about 6pm/6am), cicadas will start to "sing" for a few minutes, which is quite intriguing and something one starts waiting for. At night, frogs will have a concert, which also gives the place another special appeal.
As to Thai Wildlife in general: if you prefer airing rooms to air conditioning, don't leave doors open completely unsupervised, for as the saying goes "in Thailand a snake is always just few metres away". If you are like me keen on collecting shells, be aware that there are Cone Shells that have poison darts. They are quite docile and live 20m under the sea surface. Usually, they are dead when washed up, but there might be living ones after a storm. So better don't touch their pretty shells. On the beach, you might encounter sandflies. With them only being the size of a dot, you won't feel their bites first, but develope bug bites later. Applying coconut oil or sun oil instead of sun cream will create a protective amor, though they can't get through cause of their tiny size. We had a great time and got more than we were looking for at Ataman Villas. Thanks Alexander for all the effort, thanks to the very friendly and positive Thai staff with our little sunbeam Key. If you plan on going to Thailand and want a truly relaxing holiday at beautiful beaches, Ataman Luxury Villas on Koh Kho Khao is the place to go.

I had the most amazing time at Ataman Villas. Each staff member were the most friendly and helpful I've ever come across. Whatever favour I needed, they were able to deliver very quickly and conveniently, so I did not have to stress about anything. The facilities were impeccable, super well kept, seriously luxurious and just a beautiful place all around. The location was perfect, not too close to the touristy places, so you could enjoy privacy at the beach and the resort, but it was also not too far away from Khao Lak, if you want to go for a night out for example. 5/5, highly recommended for everyone considering Ataman Luxury Villas as their holiday destination.

You have made our holiday feel like a dream. From our peaceful arrival to everyday making us feel at home. You have taken care of everything and made our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The villa is beautiful and location fantastic, which was enhanced by the care and attention of the villa team. We are very grateful to all of you. We will miss the very nice parrot that used to visit us. Thank you for giving us a holiday of a lifetime!

We stayed there for 10 nights. The rooms were awesome – ample, bright, with AC, the bathroom was excellent too. We had the houses on the left - walking to the beach within 2 minutes. The sleeping room has one bed - we asked for another blanket and we got a second blanket immediately. You will have also a big box for your clothes, a safe, big mirror...everything you need. in the bathroom we had a whirlpool, 2 sinks, a very nice shower. Everything was excellent. The owners helped us in organising motorcycles, helmets, taxis, day trips. We even did one day trip together (snorkelling, nature) with own boat, guides, food, drinks.

Shocking paradise - the best paradise. You will NOT find anything like these superior villas anywhere in Phuket or Khao Lak. Pristine private beach without people, soft sand, clear warm sea and wifi on the beach:-) Spacious luxury modern villas in a peaceful place with a great pool with sea view. Breakfast was included in the price and was nice and tasty + restaurant is in this area with nice food and normal price. Villas are equipped with everything: washing machine, dish machine, fridge with ice maker, air condition, microwave, and electric cooker, kettle and tea or coffee, TV with Amazon and Netflix, nice working wifi (good even for video calls I had with my European office). Unlimited towels and nice beach and pool sunbeds. If you want eat in family restaurants, there are 2 on each side of beach like 300-500m away or you can stop during your travel there in Khao Lak supermarkets or markets to buy anything. Villa was provided with drinking water in bottles aswell.

Beautiful place to unwind and relax! Surrounded by green nature and quiet, long beach. We spent several weeks with friends and collegues at Ataman villas and everything went so smoothly. The very helpful owners and staff always delivered our needs. They organized day trips and scooters for us, our favourite foods for breakfast, even the lawn was cleaned for our outdoor yoga sessions and the list goes on. The staff made sure the villas were always clean and all the pools and garden were kept in good condition. The location is perfect for privacy and relaxation but there is also some restaurants near by where you can walk along the beach. We went to Khao Lak market few times by scooters but it was always nice to come back from hustle to Ataman villas serene paradise. Thank you Alex, Nathalie, the amazing staff and Mitja the cockatoo :)

A Dream!
Attaman Luxury Villas are generously designed, separately located and indeed luxuriously equipped. The pool every villa shares is not the usual bathtub in the outside, but a truly sizable pool that allows swimming and diving without reaching its walls immediately. The villas are nestled between trees along a lonely beach that invites to romantic walks along the seashore. One of the greatest features, though, is the service. Not only does one have a semi/private maid that is around without being noticeable, but also a very good chef that is never afraid of accommodating individual food wishes and delivering the delicious meals into the dining hall of the villa or its outdoor pavilion. No doubt, we will be back as soon as we can.

The place was amazing, event though it was far a way from my other hotel in Patong, but it was worth it for relaxation & quality time with my family.

The place is very nice. The villas are really big and well equiped. The chef is nice and good and try to do whatever you need. But it is very important to check the weather forecast in advance as in case of bad weather there is nothing to do there.

Very nice place, wonderful food and friendly stuff.

3 Wochen allein im Paradies

Es gab viel zu feiern: Hochzeitstag und Geburtstage. Wir wollten es im engsten Familienkreis tun. Auch wegen Corona mit so wenig wie möglich Menschen.

Die Bilder und Videos von Ataman Luxury Villas SHA PLUS im Netz haben uns überzeugt. Die Realität war dann 100% genau so.

Die Villas, der Pool und der Strand , einfach wie im Paradies und - wir waren allein. Weder in der Anlage noch am 17 km langen wunderschönen Sandstrand waren Touristen.

Nur 10 überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite gute Geister wie Gärtner, Zimmerservice, Poolreinigung und Koch sorgten sich rund um die Uhr um unser Wohlergehen.

Ein besonderer Dank an Alex und Key, ihr ward großartig.

Vacances inoubliables! Loin du tumulte des touristes dans un endroit paradisiaque avec des magnifiques coucher de soleil. Plage sauvage et déserte. Grande villa moderne et bien équipée. YouTube et Netflix quand même génial pour regarder un film le soir. Piscine très grande et qui va en profondeur juste géniale pour plonger et nager! Activités superbes à faire! Je vous conseille absolument ce lieu si vous souhaiter vous reposer en famille et faire quelques activités dans les environs (région Khao Lak)

Waren zum zweiten mal (Februar 2019) an diesem schönen Ort in den wunderschönen Villas. Das spricht für sich. Februar 2018: Wir waren 10 Tage auf der kleinen Insel in den Ataman Villen. Uns hat die Kombination aus direkter Strandlage mit ruhigen und sauberen Naturstränden und dem hervorragendem Service dieser tollen Luxusanlage mit nur fünf kleinen Villen super gut gefallen. Natalia und ihre Familie sowie das Personal waren überaus gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit mit bestem Service. Tolle Anlage, ist jeden Cent wert, die wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen werden.

Отель отличный, можно замечательно отдохнуть несколько дней. Но... Море на всем западном побережье острова мелкое, мутное, в отлив на 200-300 метров не более 1,2 метра, дно местами илистое. Единственное место с чистой водой и хорошим песком это северо-западный угол острова (там, где Sunset Bar). Поэтому основное купание в бассейне при каждой вилле.

มีทางสาธารณะ สามารถลงหาดได้ เต่ามะเฟืองขึ้นมาวางไข่เมื่อปลายปี 2563 ชายหาดยังคงความเป็นธรรมชาติดั้งเดิม
