The Green Beach Resort

Wonderful experience. Location can’t be beat. Good service and breakfast was great. Would stay here again. Much easier to explore the area, including the national parks, if you are renting a car. Driving here is low key overall. Just remember: drive on the left, scooters and dogs may pop out, and anything can happen at any time. And it probably will. But if you’re a confident driver it’s definitely worth it.

This is my first time in the Sam Roi Yot area and my family and friends were so lucky to have decided on Green Beach Resort. It is smaller than what you imagine a resort to be, but it has a swimming pool with kiddie pool (about 60cm? deep) and free bicycles to use for exploring the area. The resort offers buffet breakfast when there are many guests and single serving continental/Thai breakfast when there aren't as many people. Even with single serving breakfast, there is always a salad bar, coffee and tea, bread, etc. They change the fruit everyday to provide variety, and the same with buffet Thai food.
The resort is very clean, staff are super helpful and they become like family. We stayed for 12 nights and were well taken care of, whether it was arranging trips, renting scooters, or getting us medication from the pharmacy.
It is quiet and well-sheltered from the main roads but in such a convenient location. The Saturday night market can be reached in less than a minute on bike and restaurants are within walkable distance, even for my two toddlers.
The only thing I would say can be improved is the temperature and water pressure of the shower in the villa rooms. It is warm enough in warm weather but slightly chilly if two children are showering together. The shower in the family suite is much better.
All in all, wonderful experience, highly recommend to those looking for peace and quiet in a homey down-to-earth environment.

The resort is older but the rooms are extremely clean. Lovley pool. Comfortable beds , clean bathrooms. Beautiful beach to swim and walk. Many restaurant choices locally. What makes the resort is the staff. Mr Han is polite and nothing is to much trouble. We will be back as we live 5 hours away. We have really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you .

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with lots of choice. Good value for money all in all, clean and spacious rooms with tv and fridge. Free bikes on site to ride to along beach or out for a beer etc . Decent pool - would stop off here again

Nice hotel by the beach and close to the famous temple in the cave. The staff were very friendly and service oriented, especially the guy at the front desk. Bikes available for a stroll by the beach. Good breakfast. Happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff are super helpful and the location is great. Many day activities in the nearby area like kayaking, hiking, or ATVs.

Good location. This part of the beach is alot better as the other side has alot of arrogant Europeans. The service is awesome as well as the pool and breakfast. Great value for money. Highly recommend. Excellent bikes you can borrow

Fantastic location at the end of Khao Sam Roi Yot beach, less than 50m walk to the beach. Stayed in single deluxe villa, the room is clean, spacious, and well designed. The resort is nestled in a greenery area that feels comfortable and relaxing. The big pool is great, they also have free bicycles to ride along the beach. Highly recommended for family!

What stood out the most is the level of service we received. Staff is polite, friendly, and very accommodating. Special shout out to Khun Ping Pong the receptionist, who speaks English very well and helped to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a road accident and the staff has been so amazingly helpful, offered to take us to hospital, cooked in-room dinner without charges, and made sure that we got back ok. Definitely will be our choice for the area.

Wonderful place for group meditation retreat. Their service team went beyond professional service to make our retreat a success. They are a gem. Comfortable, great vegetarian food, fully equipped hall and efficient amenities. We highly recommend them. My only gripe is that their rooms are dark and somewhat damp.

Great resort just off of the beach. Large pool to cool down in and a free breakfast that was one of my favorite meals in Thailand. This is paradise. Nice hotel with free bicycles to ride around the area, scooter rentals, great beach, beautiful sunrises and close to the national parks where we saw seven elephants, tons of monkeys and bats plus more. Make sure you go to the temple in the cave, a little far hike but well worth it.

Great hotel with wonderful staff on a very quiet beach front. Finally worth the visit and we'll go back next year!! The children loved the pool and the proximity to the beach.
