Sea Sand Sun Resort & Villas

This hotel is amazing. We had a room with a private pool, big comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, patio with private sun beds and sunshade. The whole resort is in the huge garden and they really take care of all plants, so the views are magical.

FOOD:
The hotel restaurant was excellent. Food and drinks are delicious, we’ve never had even a single stomachache, everything is super fresh and tasty. Everyday they serve a few new dishes, so you won’t have the feeling of eating the same thing all over again. We are vegetarians and I assure you there is a multiple breakfast options (if you’re vegan they also have a choice of plant milk and more). In the evenings there is a live music (don’t worry if you’re not into this you won’t even hear it from your room). During the day they play quiet lounge music in restaurant and by the pool.

BEACH:
The beach is clean (they really are taking care of it and doing their best), there are multiple sun beds (and towels of course) available. You don’t have to worry that someone will bother you on the beach, it’s private, it’s quiet, hotel quests only.

STAFF:
What we loved the most is staff. People here are kind, generous, we loved their energy. We want to thank especially the lady who welcomed us everyday on the breakfast, who made sure everything is okay, who managed every little single thing we wished for. Thank you, you’re absolutely the heart of this resort ❤ Everybody is doing a great job to make your stay perfect. We loved all waitress and waiters, we felt really welcomed. They remember our food choices after two days, it’s fantastic that you can order ”usual” after that short time.

LOCATION:
Location is great, we spend one day in Bangkok which is a 1,5h drive away, also if you want to see the elephant sanctuary it’s like 20-25 minutes drive.

Beautiful atmosphere. Delicious breakfast buffet with a huge spread. A lovely view out to the sea and right on the beach. Food for lunch/dinner was not so good. The menu was aimed at foreigners rather than Thais so the Thai food was disappointing. Slow service as well but the setting and atmosphere made up for it. The cocktails I would recommend.

A magnificent hotel, situated away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Overlooking a narrow but clean and private beach (with an option for beachside dining). For those interested, there is a freshwater pool. The hotel itself consists of bungalows (high standard) around 200m2 each. There are also 'quad' apartment units. The bungalows are positioned in such a way that they provide a sense of complete privacy. The facilities are fully equipped for relaxation. The staff are extremely courteous. There's only one restaurant on the hotel premises but it offers a selection of local and international dishes at reasonable prices. You can always order local food delivered from nearby restaurants at even lower prices. I recommend using the Grab app for this, as well as for getting around between the hotel and nearby cities (especially to Pattaya). Bolt can also be used for transportation. The fare to Pattaya is about 350 THB (40 PLN). The hotel bungalows are set in a beautiful garden that provides shade and a place to relax during the day, and in the evening, it's lovely to take a walk there. The hotel is quiet, located in a peaceful area, child-friendly, and small enough to ensure a tranquil stay 😉. Breakfast offers a variety of local dishes, as well as continental options for those who prefer a more traditional meal... in our opinion, the half-board option is not worth it, but everyone has their own preferences. There are no animations or other activities for guests. To the extent that there's no staff present during the day at the pool and beach :) Transport within the hotel is by golf carts. The only downside is the lack of any shops on or near the hotel premises. For water and other necessities 😉, you need to head to a Seven Eleven about 2 km away from the hotel (which we do not recommend walking). Travel to Bangkok is intense, but we absolutely recommend it. The SPA is a must-try, especially the massages, which are an exceptional experience. Super! We recommend choosing this option if you want a luxurious and comfortable rest and to feel a bit... glamorous... hehehe!!!!

Attention to detail, customer focused to the extent the staff recall your favourite foods and drinks, live dinner entertainer who has been singing there for 17 years and still popular.

It is quiet with three exception in seven days: weddings. The beach was acquired by wedding set up and partying until 10.00pm. So, either embrace the functions, or go somewhere else for total tranquillity.

We had three one hour Thai masssges in the spa during our stay. Full trained professional staff who can pamper you or move to serious remedial massage to meet your requests and expectations. Ambience second to none.

This is a four star venue with an extremely customer focused business model, friendly staff and nice beach. Just remember the wedding bookings in the dry season.

Love the location with a private beach! Our family just needs a quick getaway from Bangkok and we are not disappointed with this place! Great service, food, and room! The swimming pool is a nice size for this resort.

I really recommend to have dinner at their restaurant here! Thai food is good and their pizza and spaghetti are great! There will be variety of food to please everyone in your family! We will be back again!

Very nice resort. Comes with reasonable price! Breakfasts were nice. Workers are very hospitable too. Only cons about this resort is that its located far away from main streets of Pattaya.

It'd come very very handy if you learn how to hop on songtaewu in white that goes along with the sukumvit road. (Note: Some say that its dangerous to ride in late night)

Oh and there is a lot of Russians. I mean like 80% of guests were Russians. I guess it has to do sth with a war.

Great romantic quite resort in the tropical jungle garden on the private beach, just 15 min. from Pattaya Jomtien beach. Wormly recommended.

We chose this resort as a 13 night stopover flying home from Switzerland to Australia, to break up the 20 hour flight for our 13 month old son. And so glad we did. Just 90 mins from the airport, we were collected from the airport in a private airconditioned van and driven to the resort. We arrived early morning, and as the checkin is not until 3pm we were worried about the heat and our baby. But the fantastic Jeet at the front counter worked his magic and we luckily got into the nice airconditioned room by 10.30.
Let me start by saying the rooms are a great size for a family of 3. Complete with minibar, plenty of suitcase space, comfortable bed, and very importantly a great airconditioner.
The resort itself is quite large and very well gardened, but they have golf carts at the reception - you can just call reception and they will come and pick you up. But my advice is to ask for a room closest to the restaurant - that way you are close to the sea, pool, and restaurant- and its very quick to walk to any of them.
The food in the restaurant is amazing. For breakfast you have all the cereals, plus an egg station where someone cooks eggs to your liking. Plus about 15 hot dishes, whether it be bacon, sausages, baked beans, or the local food of curries, noodles, fish, pork - you name it - they have it all. And then there's the fresh fruit, fruit juices, hot coffee of every sort, and a bakery area with croissants and pastries. What more do you need? Dinner was a great range also - loved the fisherman's basket!
But the best thing about the stay here is the people. If you've ever been to Fiji, I rate it as friendly as that. Starting by Jeet at the reception, the restaurant staff are exceptional. In the mornings, the wonderful Priya, Benz and Ton would already have our table waiting for us, complete with baby chair. Quite often we would wonder what our son was smiling at - we would turn around and 3 of the staff would be smiling at him and waving. As soon as we were finished with a plate or coffee, someone would grab it and remove it. We felt like royalty.
Ton would lay out towels for us on the sunloungers and set 2 seats aside for us which were in the shade for the baby - every single morning! Just amazing.
Of an evening, Oum Oim, Nok and Mickey would also have a table reserved for us, in front of a fan, which was important as there is no aircon in the restaurant (but they have heaps of fans which are enough). They would also entertain our son with smiles while we ate. The whole resort and staff just felt like a family. The staff will do anything for you - you just have to ask.
Other staff which deserve a mention - the chef (didn't get his name), Sowanee and Lit were also very friendly and helpful.
I hope I've mentioned everyone as you all did a fantastic job and made us feel so very welcome. We will definitely be flying Thai airways again, and doing a stopover at this resort. I highly recommend stay here and can't wait to be back.
Tip** There is no atm at the resort. I suggest you get money at the airport if you want to leave tips for individuals or room cleaning. Or you can take a taxi to the 7-11 and there's an atm there. Ride costs 150 baht return.

We stayed at that property during our recent visit to Pattaya. We stayed in a villa. Property is nice and away from city's hustle and bustle... Staff is very kind and accomodative of guests request. Spa was amazing.

Had my engagement photos taken here. We chose this place because of the greenery and the beach seemed to be more quiet than the hotel near Pattaya City. We stayed in pool villa suite as part of their pre-wedding package. The hotel is about 30min away from Pattaya City. The travel distance was not a problem as the whole family loved this place and the service was great. Definitely coming back!✨

Great resort! We've enjoyed so much. Very nice large room (garden villa) with outdoor shower👌🏼 bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was beyond our expectations, lot of choice and very clean and they serve the food for you. The beach very clean with beautiful palmtrees and pool was only a few minutes walk from our room 👌🏼 when you are on the resort it feels like you are in the nature, very beautiful plants etc😍 Staff did also an excellent job very friendly. I would totally recommend this resort!

Hospitality at its heart with warm and welcoming service round the clock. Somptous breakfast served everyday. Private pool villas nested in between the curated tropical surrounding gives utmost peace and serenity. Highly recommended !!! Will definitely visit again.

I never experienced this type of forest hotels. Cool breeze blowing, the song of birds in the morning and beautiful sunset are everywhere.
All staffs are experts and kind.

Have stayed here twice now and have enjoyed both the stays. Great beach with pool close by with lots of nice places to relax or hangout. The rooms are very nice we liked the outdoor showers. The breakfast is fairly standard but good quality.

We had the most amazing 5 days at the Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villas from August 15-19, 2023, and to say it was absolute Heaven would not be an exaggeration! The location and property are stunning, exquisite and so perfectly detailed, planned, designed and maintained, with a wonderful eye for details and aesthetic. Everywhere you look, from the private Pool Villas Room to manicured and curated pathways, the huge variety of greenery and the birds, snails, fish, frogs and other beautiful species that co-exist there, adding their soulful symphony of sound to the already breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. As a property, SSS is easily the very best by far that I have ever stayed at. But that's not where it ends, in fact the physical beauty of the resort is just s small thing in comparison to the giant heart and soul of the humans who manage and run the place. If I say that these people, the managers, front desk execs, restaurant staff, chefs, bellboys, housekeeping, are the icing on the cake, then I would not be saying enough! They go out of their way to smile, be warm, to look after every single need we had and help us feel so at home that we did not want to go back to India. We are both vegan and the chefs and managers worked so hard and with so much care to give us special food, to ensure no animal products were fed to us, and they did it so well that the food we ate was incredibly tasty. The special stirfry, the soft fluffy pancakes, the sweet sweet fruit and endless glasses of orange juice, the special orders of snacks and iced tea brought from outside late at night and much, much more, it was all done with so much concern and care for our happiness, and we cannot thank the entire staff enough for making our holiday there the best one ever! Thank you Subhojit for your professionalism, your warmth and for going out of your way so many times without making us feel guilty about constantly pestering you! Thank you Kul for your very protective love and care, for looking after our food like a mother would, we cannot thank you enough! Thank you Tom and Mickey for working so hard and with smiles always, to mix and match and create vegan options for us that were not on the menu. It must have been hard work and we thank you for your tireless efforts! Thank you Lasika and all the other ladies and gentlemen at the restaurant who served us food with smiles and affection always! Thank you to all the technical staff who helped us fix our internet connections time and again, day or night, and to the housekeeping who kept our room so neat and fresh always!
