Kiriwong Village

Kiriwong Village and the famous bridge is nothing special. But the real sebsation is up the river. Just follow the road upstream. There are special spots where you can sit in the river surrounded by hundreds of fish. Best is to buy some fishfood and throw it around you. The fish are going crazy and the water surrounding you looks like boiling water. And don’t be afraid. The fish will not touch you. Also up the road there are a lot of restaurants. In the mainvillage it is difficult to find good food. Especially if you arrive after 7.30 pm

Magnificent views if the weather is clear, you can buy fish pallets near the lamp post to feed the fish below the bridge. Love the cafe besides the river bank, must try when you visit. If the season of durian & mangosteen you can get it at an affordable price.

A nice area with beautiful nature surroundings. Some cafes and restaurants to chill. Recommended to rent a bike to explore along the river and up to the waterfalls.
Expected more things open on a weekday, but it seems more like a weekend place for domestic tourism.

Amazing hidden gem. Best visit on weekday and if you have time, try staying overnight as it is most beautiful early in the morning and late evening. At noon it can be hectic with tour bus.
