18th Mar 2019. Well maintained with ongoing renovations. Artwork around main hall and beautiful temple. On the banks of the Nan river.

Beautiful temple, I happen to go there on a even call " Ngan wat" which is similar to night market with unique fun park and games. The product and games are so cheap and localize. It's really beautiful how the temple is the heart of the local community. And people both respect and enjoy the temple.

beautiful (chinese buddhist style) temple. free vegetarian food. awesome views of the paddy fields from the top. a nice excursion just outside phitsanulok

วัดท่าหลวง เป็นวัดอีกแห่งของ จังหวัดพิจิตร ที่ตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำน่าน ตำบลในเมือง อำเภอเมืองพิจิตร โดยมีความเก่าแก่อย่างมาก เป็นที่ประดิษฐาน หลวงพ่อเพชร พระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย ศิลปะเชียงแสน ที่มีอายุกว่า 800 ปี
พุทธศาสนิกชนนับถือหลวงพ่อเพชรอย่างมาก ใครมีเรื่องเดือดร้อน หรือมีความทุกข์ยาก ก็จะไปบนบานศาลกล่าวขออำนาจหลวงพ่อเพชรให้ช่วยปกป้องรักษา หรือปัดเป่าความทุกข์ยากให้หมดไป เดชะบารมีขององค์หลวงพ่อเพชร ก็จะช่วยทุกรายเมื่อผู้นั้นพ้นทุกข์ก็จะนำหัวหมู เป็ด ไก่ ขนม ไปถวายแด่หลวงพ่อเพชรที่พระอุโบสถกลิ่นธูปและควันเทียนจะไม่ขาดระยะ
และเช่นเดียวกับเราครั้งนี้ก่อนเดินทางกลับมากรุงเทพตั้งใจต้องไปนมัสการหลวงพ่อเพชรเพราะเป็นพระพุทธรูปทรงอานุภาพอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ตนเองเช่นกัน

วัดที่มีชื่อเสียงอีกวัดหนึ่งที่คนพื้นที่และคนจังหวัดใกช้เคียงนิยมมากราบไหว้ขอพรกัน การเดินทางมาสะดวกวัดอยู่ในเมือง ที่จอดรถเยอะมาก วิวภายในวัด เนื่องจากติดริมน้ำสวย สะอาดมาก มีคนดูแลอย่างดี ลองแวะมากราบไหว้และเที่ยวกันครับ
