My first word is PEACE after arrival at Dhammagiri. I was astonished and thrilled of the spectacular landscape and especially those useful dhamma words on those trees. Thank you for such a great experience and supports for those students. I will come back in the future.

ไม่เคยไป แต่ฟังพระอาจารย์ชาวมาเลย์มาเล่าให้ฟังถึงครอบครัวและชาวเขาที่ยากจนมากจนไม่มีอาหารใส่บาตรพระ เลยอยากช่วยมูลนิธิของอาจารย์มาเลย์ให้เด็กๆได้เรียนและมีอาหารกิน

Rent a bicycle and drive out here, after passing the small lake follow the road and a new world opens ... Beautiful native forest neighborhood, river and cute village at the end of the road. Dhammagiri's temple is a pearl of property with beautiful tropical gardens and infrastructure !

It's in the middle of the two border crossings Tasileik (Chiang Rai) and Mayavaddy (Mae Sot), the place has a connection with Malaysia & Singapore due to the resident founding Monk Ajahn Cāgino. The monastery and foundation are intertwined, they have about 50 or so sponsored kids living onsite as part of the foundations education program for disadvantaged kids. The place itself is only 50/60 Rai but as of 2019 they're was a project to bore a meditation hall into a cave in the mountain.
