Phu Ruea National Park

If want camping there will be Camp I (upstairs) and camp II (upper stairs) may cost 100Baht/person (if more updates please call), if pets come may not allowed

A very good Panoramic scenary. From the Check Point (Toll Gates), it is just 8 KM away from Phu Ruea peak parking lot. The road is a little bumpy but still proper paved and not too steep. Once you arrive at Phu Ruea peak parking lot, all vehicle will be restricted to enter the Peak area and needs to park at the lot. There are more than enough spaces for parking. You then have to take a ride for 20 THB round trip to the Phu Ruea Peak. The distance between the Parking Lot and Phu Ruea peak is 1 KM.

Stunning sunset and sunrise. We made friends with many dogs. It's a great place to camp out.

Can drive up and walk the remaining 1.5 kms (or take a golf-cart). Splendid views at well cared-for summit with small shrine.

Love this mountain peak! Can drive up to the summit with a little trail walk in the freezing morning. A must visit place

Walking to the peak is an overwhelming experience. Don't hesitate to walk. Backwards are taxis.

Very unfair the fees..only see the mountain,landscape and pay expensive!!!

Beautiful views from the Peak, which is statistically the coolest location in Thailand!

My friends and I chose to stay at the bungalow in Zone 1. The bungalow is clean and basic furnished. The feeling of staying in the middle of forest is amazing. The peak of Phu Ruea is well known as the lowest temperature in Siam. The time we went was almost end of the year, so the temperature at the peak was super cold. It was also cloudy, and windy, but the view is well deserved. The staff of National park is very nice and friendly. They could not speak English well, but tried their best to show us all needed information. They also accompanied us to the peak to ensure we got to the right view point. Catching the sunset in Phu Ruea is great experience.

Awesome park. But I took the wrong road up. :) watch for signs. :)

On a hot sunny day, the weather up there is a bit lower. Not many activities to do.

Not quite as pretty during the dry season, but still a place of deep serenity and beautiful views.

Okay but shower water very cold. Cooking area but you can also just order at the restaurant. The tracks are beautiful, not too difficult, well indicated with red/white ribbon
