This is the view of Pasak Jolasid Dam from the further side down. There is a seasonal train ride from November to January every year where it would stop in the middle over the floating bridge and therefore the lovely photos posted below. As for the dam itself, it is quite chilling but not very well maintained. You can visit the small aquarium and museum to learn more about the dam. There are few vendors selling snacks and easy food such as papaya salad and grilled chicken, which you can rent a mattress for 20THB and find a spot to rest and eat.

They also offer mini train rides within the dam, explaining about the dam (30THB) but we didn't take it since we preferred to walk by ourselves.

This dam is almost 3 decades. It is surprising that people still visit this place. You can do many things on your visit such as stay in the shaded parts and just feel the breeze of fresh air. You can also do shopping for souvenirs to give to your family and friends. Kids can enjoy flying kites while picnicking. No food? Don't worry! They have food shops and you can order different Thai food. There is a museum that gives the history of this dam. Then, the most exciting part is the tractor trip to the dam. It is not expensive for both Thais and foreigners. The trip takes about 30 minutes back and forth. At the other side of the dam is a temple and the tractor train stops for about 15 minutes to give time for Thai people to pray and for everyone to shop some souvenirs as well. This is a must to visit!!!

Scenic dam near Khao Yai… if you in Lopburi or Saraburi this is place to experience… dam closes by 17:30 but you drive to place nearby named road corner to have camping and nice sun set views

The largest reservoir in central Thailand! It is very vast and feels like a Great Lake! No tickets are required and there’s plenty of little stores to buy souvenirs from!

Very quiet, peaceful location. Couldn't find anything really spectacular, but a very nice place to walk around or relax by the water.

The Pasak Jolasid dam region is causing a big stir of interest locally recently. As you may know, there’s been a drought on in Thailand and water level has dropped so much the ruins of a long submerged temple ‘Wat Nong bua yai’ have appeared.

The Jolasit really is very impressive and an experiance we would like not to miss. We drove around the impressive largest reservoir of Thailand. Which is 4860 m long and has a capacity of 785 million cubic meters. Try to have as we had a sunny day with blue sky. Then you can enjoy the beauty of the Jolasit reservoir. Do not forget the sunset it is a dream

The 4,860-meter (15,940 ft) wide and 36.5-meter (120 ft) high dam is earth-filled with an impervious core. The storage capacity is 785 million m3 of water at normal water level, with a maximum capacity of 960 million m3. The dam also supplies about 6.7 MW of hydro-electric power

Very special place to go or drive around. Can take a train ride over the dam. Local crafts are made on site, and they have collages for rent. Lots to see. Great place to buy honey 80 thd. Very beautiful. Must go if you're in the area.

When I went there, the place was very peaceful and the fishes were very beautiful. My family and i bought fish food to feed the fishes and the fishes went crazy for it. So I advise you to prepare a towelette or a small towel just incase you get a bit wet from all the splashing from the fishes. There were also many booths near the Dam. You can buy many types of snacks and drinks. Personally, I loved the dried marshmallow. It taste very good. It's quite sweet and the texture is very nice. I also like how it melts in your mouth as you eat it. The Dam also have manh statues which are good for taking photos and it was very smart of them to give more information on the statues. The train ride was alright though it was a bit hot so again, I advise you all to wear a hat or prepare cool water and sunscreen as the ride could be a bit hot and long.
