There are many animals and it is very spacious. There is a water park and there are small stores along the way when you look at all the animals. You can rent bikes and golf cart to ride in the zoo or you can buy tickets to go on the bus that will take you around the zoo. :)

I spent 4 hours there, the animals looked in good condition and their enclosures were clean. The ticket price is 350 bhat for tourists not 150 as advertised….
The food hall is to the right as you enter, there are a number of kiosks sell snacks as you walk around
I really enjoyed feeding the giraffes
Great place to visit

It is the zoo with the largest number of animals in Thailand. It has a water park and bicycles and golf carts for rent.

This zoo is a nice vacation spot especially for a family with young children who enjoy nature. The zoo is nicely spread out. If you love walking, it is enjoyable on foot, but with small children, you may want to use a stroller, or rent a bicycle to help you get around (from 20-70 bhat per bike depending on the type of bike you choose.) The zoo tram is another good option for getting around. It costs 20 bhat or less per person. They also have gulf carts you can rent, but those are 300 bhat per hour.

The seal show is enjoyable. It shows at 11 am and 2 pm. The trainers work very well with the animals. They also show a few others to start out. My kids (ages 3 and 5) both love the show!

If you are interested in learning about the snakes of the area, there is a nice display in air conditioning with many area snakes. It is a nice reprieve from the heat. These are right across from the seal show.

Monkeys are in natural areas with motes separating them from passers by. It is a nice, more natural setting.

There are also the normal animals at the zoo, lions, tigers, sun bears, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodile and kangaroos to name a few.

If you come in early July, you may be able to find some peacock feathers.

Very nice spacious zoo. Paid Thai people price for tickets (we are not Thai), but the dual pricing is advertised on the ticket booth. We got there on a rainy afternoon, the place was quiet and breathy, enjoyed the weather a lot.
Renting a golf cart recommended (300 baht per hour). Tram and bicycles are available too.
Animals are well-kept, although some seemed a bit lonely. I hope the gorgeous African elephant will get a mate.

Great zoo! My daughter and I had alot of fun here. Rented a bike and cycled all over. Not like western zoos were everything is so strict! Were deer all over the place and the distance to the animals is much closer because there aren't as many fences between you and the animals. I really enjoyed this. Saw the seal performance as well, that was also interesting. You can get here for 8 bhat if you use the transport from kohert. Was crazy to only pay 8 bhat for the entire way..

Surprisingly good place, many tree and shades make it a pleasant stroll between the zone and its huge !

We use the train to go around the zoo which comes almost every 10 mins with super cheap fare

we had only 3 hours before going to other place but i feel like we can spend much longer time there (which we should !)

A great place for kids to visit. They've got many kinds of animals. One more thing I appreciate about the zoo is that the transportation around the place is very accessible 'cause they have this kind of shuttle train that can bring you to different areas of the zoo. They have bicycles for rent so if you're someone who wants to do things on his own and take time on his own pace (no need to wait for the shuttle at the bus stop) then this one's for you.

Excellent family destination. The zoo is expansive even after covid downsizing. The value is fantastic, most things are only 20ish baht if you want to feed the animals or go to the water park. I highly recommend renting a golf cart or at least buying a tram ticket as it is quite a bit of walking. I also recommend the sea lion show. I went with a group of 7 (2 elderly and 2 children) we did everything we wanted and didn't spend more than 2000 baht for the whole day entrance fee, food, shows, and Waterpark included.

Excellent zoo. Great for the whole family. Rented a golf cart. 300 baht for an hour or 500 for two. I would recommend two hours. The cart can hold 4 comfortably, maybe 5. 30 baht each for the train. Lots of stalls along the way for water and snacks. We spent two hours at the park but that was because we came late. I highly recommend a visit if you are passing by or in the area.

No map available. Good for kids, rental bicycle, club car, water fun park with an economical price, racing car (Formula1 for kids), bump car, tiny motorcycle, mini ATV..all are electric cars and mini boat and moving by rolling hands.. Seal show, bird show..it's a happy time for kids and participation during show. Don't expect too much about 6-8 shops in food court. Get on train to visit animals at each station. I would recommend for family trip or for kids. Poor management but still good place for visit..like no map available.

The Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo is well worth a visit. The grounds are well kept and the animals are well cared for and easily viewed. It was a most relaxing visit and though a very warm day it was a pleasant outdoor setting that made the heat very tolerable. If you have children this is a good place to visit and let them see the animals in an outdoor setting. BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO VISIT!

best zoo i’ve ever been to, reasonable entry fee (150 baht for foreigners). Allow a minimum of 3 hours to visit it quickly, but you can easily spend 5 hours to see everything. What makes this zoo special is that many human-friendly animals (deers, peacocks and all sorts of birds) are let free to roam around the zoo and mingle with visitors. very impressed.

Far out, what a find. Incredible zoo, very underrated. Some parts like the reptile zone are better than SanDiego zoo. Very impressed, huge variety of animals, you will actually see the animals, up close. There are lots of animals, not just one or two in each enclosure. They all looked healthy and happy as well. Entry was only 150 baht. Bargain. I would say the zoo is worth the trip to Korat alone.

Take my two young boys regularly. They love it. At the moment it has a lot of refurbishment projects in progress but still a good cheap day out for kids. Also has a decent swimming complex.
